Lovely hostel located right in the heart of Leòn. Very easy to find and access. Bring ear plugs because the street is quite loud but easy to ignore with ear plugs. No aircon, so plan accordingly. They did provide a towel, along with normal bedding. Lockers were located in the room and easy to use. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook or there were great places to eat all around. If you walk away from the city center, the prices change from tourist prices and are very reasonable.

Nice style but no silence

The hostel is really very nice with a very nice vintage furniture. It is located in a central and convenient position, but unfortunately precisely because of this and the soundproofing, it is almost impossible to sleep until three at night. It seems to have people in the room screaming and drinking while they are on the street. Even the bathrooms leave something to be desired because they are very few for so many people. Just two showers for 40 seats are few. The guy who runs the hostel is very nice.

Good value for money, nice common area

+ The common area was nice, and the kitchen and dining room were well equipped. The location is great in the city center. The staff was nice. There has been full bedding available.
- There was only one ladies' bathroom with two toilets, two sinks, and one shower which was a bit uncomfortable considering the number of people staying in the place.

Best Albergue so far

This place is perfect. We stayed an extra night (!)... brilliant communal kitchen and wonderful location. Juan is a great host and I’ll definitely return. Spotlessly clean. I’m now writing to all the other pilgrims I’ve met on the way telling them to stay here!

Gotta love this place!

I arrived in Leon at around 8 pm, as the first stop of my Camino de Santiago adventure. Covent Garden was recommended by an outdoor shop employee. As it was closed, I calle the number on the business card and the owner came for me within 5 min and got ma a bed for the night. Towels, linen, blanket and breakfast included. The place is a charming old building with view over old city of Leon, could actually see the Camino yellow arrows from the balcony. The hospitality from the owner and the great people I met on my first night, made this place one of my best memories !
