Godoy Complex (Losar De la Vera-Cáceres)
I have read very bad signs of this “campsite”, here, on TripAdvisor, on Google,... and I have verified that it is true.
I stayed 2 nights (we do weekend getaways, this time lucky 2 nights).
The camping area is downstairs, just down the road to the river. We were ALONE, there was no one else camped. Being the lower area of the river, people pass to go to the river but there is nothing else, the nearest toilets, in the street above.
In the early morning, they turn off the lampposts. Which you appreciate so you can sleep better but however you want to go to the bathroom in the early morning, you need a flashlight.
The toilets? DISGUSTING. None of them had paper. In the mains, no paper and no clean bathroom. Of 10 sinks they have, they only have water 3. The dirty sinks, with remains of the previous, previous and previous person. Then you have other bathrooms down the street, and of 4 showers, they only had open 2: 1 with the broken light and another that the light had to be turned on from 3 doors beyond, since it was like the main light that turned everything on.
It has a pool, quite large. But you should also give him a refresher. And tell the lifeguard to stop playing cards in his working hours.
The bar is not bad, but the cheap prices are not. Beer jug €3.50. Ración de bravas 8€
They have a small shop. When they make bread or the fruit bowl comes they announce it by public address.
It has direct access to the river.
Leaving the campsite, 50 meters, there is another very cool swimming area.

A disaster

Bungalows with stained and broken mattresses. The dirt of the bathrooms is indescribable the pool has its own life bugs everywhere. The showers were rotten and completely scuffled. And to finish the kitchen of the bar very bad and dirty. No vayais

DISGUSTING

Go with disinfectant. Cleanliness is conspicuous by its absence. Unprofessional treatment and lack of minimal education. In the complex's bar, also living up to the previous hygienic comments, they tried to put us on a dinner menu with prices that they would not charge in Madrid in 2-Michelin star restaurants. Anyway, DON'T GO

Very left

In general, everything is very old. The reception was dark. The bathrooms are very dirty, there is no light in the women's bathroom, and there is no hot water in any of them first thing in the morning.
On the positive side, the food in the restaurant is good and in good quantity.

Horrible

Fuimos a pasar el día en la piscina y es un auténtico asco: la piscina sucia, los baños peor pero los más asqueroso es la comida del bar: las judías de bote incomibles, los boquerones fritos del año pasado y los filetes rusos en mal estado con un olor asqueroso. NO SÉ OS OCURRA IR A ESE ANTRO!
