Sad experience

A member of the group was robbed inside the safe inside the hab. Clear collusion of the staff. The hotel has no insurance. He didn't sympathize with the passenger. Shame on you. I'm not coming back.

Air conditioning not available with 28o C

28o C that day with the heated room and the air conditioning allowed to raise the temperature, but not lower it. At reception they explained that lowering the temperature of the room could only be done by opening the window at night, because the installation does not allow lowering the temperature, not because of breakdown, but because this service is not scheduled until later in the year. Apart from the fact that having the window open was unfeasible due to noise from the outside, the description of the rooms included air conditioning without any period limitation of the year.

Robbery at the Aravaca Village Hotel in Madrid

I want to share a serious experience that I experienced on September 25, 2025, during my stay at the Hotel Aravaca Village, in Madrid.
That day I suffered a robbery inside my room, in violation of the safe.
The person who entered was posing as a hotel worker and gained access to the first floor, a sector accessed by card provided by the establishment, and then entered my room. Without hotel security warning and avoiding it.
The incident was reported to the Spanish police and is currently under trial. Within this framework, the person was identified through fingerprints, searches of the hotel's own cameras and reconnaissance at police headquarters. He must also testify in the case together with those responsible for the establishment.
Beyond the seriousness of the incident, what I find particularly troubling is that, despite all these circumstances and the formal claims made, the hotel merely denied responsibility, without explaining how access to or breach of the safe was possible, or offering a solution for the stolen property, including money and personal documentation.
I share this information to warn other guests.
All the facts described here have been duly documented and are part of proceedings in Spanish justice.

Great for quality and services

Convenient to reach from the airport and means available to reach the city center. New and spacious structure with many common areas. Large and spotless room, breakfast very good shame the automatic machines for hot drinks.
