100% recommend
Great location. Great selection at breakfast. Very clean. Friendly staff. Good pool areas. Comfy loungers and plentiful umbrellas. Good atmosphere with mixture of chilled and upbeat vibes. Entertainment most afternoons eg singer, DJ. Quick at solving any issues (shower water pressure attended to and resolved within 15 mins of reporting). Spacious and pretty rooms. No issues at all, 100% recommend.

Fantastic Hotel
My husband and I stayed here and it was fantastic! The staff were lovely, the whole place was clean, plenty of sun beds and the breakfast every morning was great. Would recommend if coming to Gran Canaria!

Hotel Gold in name and in fact.
We spent 11 days in this magnificent hotel.
Our superior sea view room on the ninth and top floor was a pleasant surprise. Nothing is missing, from the small fully functional kitchen with sink, induction cooktop, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, and refrigerator.
The bathroom has a huge shower, a nice king-size bed, and a small living area. And to top it off, a nice sea view balcony.
The breakfast is excellent; nothing is missing from sweet to savory, and all the staff are super friendly.
We will definitely return ❤️

Another fantastic stay
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had another brilliant stay at Gold by Marina in Gran Canaria, honestly one of our favourite places to come back to.
The breakfast was exceptionally good, loads of choice and really high quality. We even mentioned on our last visit that it would be great to have baked beans available every day… and this time they actually were! Such a small thing but it really shows they listen to their guests.
The sun lounging areas are lovely and relaxing, and the sauna was a real highlight, especially with the weather not being the best this time. Despite the rain, we still had a really fun holiday thanks to the hotel’s facilities and atmosphere.
All of the staff are genuinely warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, they couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay.
The room was modern and well-equipped, with a great TV setup that let us watch Netflix in the evenings, which was a nice touch. The location is also perfect, close to everything but still feels calm and comfortable.
One thing worth mentioning, Andrej my true love, had a bit of a nasty fall when it was raining, as some of the floors became very slippery. The staff were absolutely fantastic in supporting us, and we’re really grateful for how they handled everything. The local hospital also treated him incredibly quickly and professionally, which was reassuring. It might be worth the hotel considering additional anti-slip measures in some areas to help prevent future accidents.
Also highly recommend using the hotel taxi service, same price as a regular taxi but much nicer cars and very friendly drivers.

Great week away with warm weather and chance to relax
We booked this hotel last min on the 17th Jan and arrived on the 24th. On our arrival we were given a glass of Prosecco while we waited to book in. When we booked in we were told we had been upgraded to a suite on the 7th floor from our original booking of a double room with balcony. The room was excellent there was a bottle of wine and 2 local lagers in the fridge as well as a bottle of water. On the 3rd morning I was accidentally burned on my arm in the restaurant by an employee taking one of the hot plates out of the buffet. The staff showed concern and although they weren’t allowed to give me any cream or spray for it (got the same h&s rules as uk) reimbursed me immediately for the cream I got from chemist. Also when we returned to our room there was a bottle of Prosecco and note apologising, asking us to get in touch with the team if we required anything at all. The staff were great, room was cleaned everyday unless we said it didn’t require it doing. Breakfast was plentiful and a very good selection, although I would imagine it being very busy at peak times of the year. We tended to spend most of our time sunbathing on the terrace with the hot tub and sauna as the sun beds by the pool in the mornings seemed to get ‘booked’ by towels. I would recommend this hotel and book again if we were to go back to Gran Canaria it was a nice week of great weather and a chance to relax and chill before coming back to uk and work.
