Donkey House - uncomfortable, unclean and noisy and nothing like the photos!!
We stayed here for 2 nights to meet up with family that had come over to Spain. Thank god it was only 2 nights. On arriving your’e met with the house facing a busy dual carriageway with a slip road running past the house to join the slip road. No outside space unless you like breathing in car fumes. Also a strong sewage smell greets you every time you come in.
Front room: new air con unit which is wasted on the big gaps in the front door and missing glass in door between living room and kitchen.
Furniture old but serves its purpose. If you want comfort don’t stay here.
Double bedroom: on the front so noisy. Bed was basic. Ceiling fan only went one speed and the remote didn’t work. NO AIR and under tourist licence rules this should be provided in every bedroom.
Singles bedroom: 2 single beds that are the most basics beds and squeak with every single movements. We were up and out at 6am every morning due to bad backs. Don’t expect any sleep if the upstairs flat is being used as the heels clamping and the chairs being scraped on the floor at 3am will put pay to that. Bin men emptying bins right outside your house.
Kitchen: no oven if you wanted to cook. No coffee machine as stated. The freezer was full of ice, the fridge was dirty and the microwave still had dried food on the sides and top. The cupboard with glasses in was dusty and the glasses were used as ashtrays. On a safety concern the kitchen door was locked and had locked rejas on it so should a fire break out in the front room there was no escape point!
Bathroom: this is old, tired and dirty looking, needs an overhaul. Toilet flushing knob kept coming off so you had to put your hand in the cistern to retrieve it. Good powerful shower though.
Utility room: didn’t use it but there was a washing machine and iron in it.
To sum it up this house is in an excellent location to TOWN but the location of the road to the house is not. I would not take children here due to the lack of security of the front door and garden gate. There is no outside space to sunbathe if you wanted and the noise and fumes are not good. Blinds down all day due to passing traffic of people and the overall tired look and general condition needs a complete renovation. Had I have been here on a holiday I would not have stayed, this was a place to lay your head but we couldn’t even get that due to the noise neighbours , car noise, lack of ventilation and I really don’t know how this has a tourist licence. Would I recommend this place… not a chance

Worst beds ever
Worst ever beds we were a party of 3 ladies double bed ok except could not turn ceiling fan off. Twin beds were cheapest beds ever flimsy wooden slates would suit a small child not an adult. So bad we had to sleep on the sofa. House is situated directly on main road adjacent to motorway traffic 24/7 non stop. Bin men came along twice at 1am in the morning. Would never stay in this property again
