Great hotel, great location!

For those coming to this hotel: do not worry! It is amazing. Before we came I was terrified reading some of the reviews. Here is my exeprience so far, we are currently here:
- Family room is very spacious and clean, cleaning is 5x per week. We got kitchenette with dishes and even free pack of sponge and dish washing liquid. We got sea view, which we think was a free upgrade and we were very thankful!
- Food - we initially booked breakfast only, the choice is huuuge and quality is very good! We esp love fresh fruit each morning. We also once added lunch and were also happy even my picky 6 yr old was super happy with the food.
- Location is unbeatable, directly on the beach, sea is clean and beach well kept. You can rent 2 beds and umbrella 21eur/day.
- Pools - there are several but we dont hang around we come to sea side for the beach, we have pools at home. But i noticed there are plenty chairs and grounds are well kept.
- Personal is lovely, friendly and smiling ready to help. You get beach towels and you can swap twice per week for free or more often at 1eur each time you change.
- Kids facilities are plenty there is playground a football pitch (we were stuck there and my kid wasnt interested in anything else), there is kids club and many activities thru the day.
- Location, bus stop just outside of hotel 5min ride to Can picafort and 15 to pprt de Alcudia. Pine trees all around. There are shops and restaurants outside of hotel too.
Overall it is an amazing resort, it is only 3 star but it is WAY better than many 4 or 5 stars we stayed at (we visited nearly 70 countries world wide). I really dont know WHAT do some people expect or want.
Thank you to the staff of this hotel, we are enjoying it to the fullest!

First holiday abroad with Grandkids - very special

First holiday with our 4 older kids and two grandchildren ages 2 and 1. TUI recommended Mallorca and this hotel and we were not let down. The hotel location is right on the beach and all of the facilities within the hotel were fantastic for families likes ours and we had a fantastic week with brilliant weather and made some magical memories for us as a family with our 2 grandkids. Rooms were a good size and air con worked a treat! Lots of activities in the day and the entertainment area in the evenings was a great place to spend an hour or so. If you’re a runner there is a great woodland area with a path just down from the hotel and takes you a few KM and onto the beach, the sunrises are stunning. What we didn’t fully appreciate was booking self catering was not going to be the best option with the hotel where it is, the price of everything in the supermarkets was very expensive and the hotel is not in Alcudia (although the hotel name would suggest otherwise) so we would be paying for taxis as well as food. We decided on day 1 to upgrade to half board and that was perfect, the food, albeit it very similar each day was great. The main restaurant is busy but at back of the hotel by the beach is a smaller, quieter one which was great for us as a party of 10.
The other watch item
was local tax charge pp per night which for us was another £160, the hotel kept our passports on check in and when i went to get them later that’s when they said i have to pay the taxes first.
last bit to be aware if is on the beach which is great but it has the build up of something called posidonia which when you read up is critical to preserve the environment around the island and every morning they clean up the beach, an amazing bit of nature but might put a few off going into the water which was warmer than the pool! We wanted to make this first trip abroad with our grandchildren and our own kids very special and full of wonderful memories for us all and we did that.

Dear RPenno,
It sounds like you had a truly magical first holiday abroad with your grandkids, and we are absolutely thrilled to have been part of making those special memories! Hearing that the spacious rooms, the kids' activities, and those stunning sunrise running paths hit the mark puts a huge smile on our faces.
We are also glad you upgraded to half-board; our quieter beachside restaurant really is a hidden gem for larger families!
Just to clarify for future trips, holding passports briefly at check-in is just part of our standard registration process, and the local tourist tax is a mandatory Balearic government fee. We also love that you appreciated the Posidonia seaweed! It really is vital for protecting our beautiful ecosystem.
Thank you for choosing us for such a milestone family trip, and we would love to welcome your wonderful group back anytime!
Warmest regards,
Management team, Oussama

Great Hotel

Nice hotel. Close to beach. 3 pools and separate adults only sunbed section.
Staff all helpful. Room very clean on arrival and had a part sea view at no extra cost. Sunbeds always readily available. Bus stop literally outside the hotel with a 5 minute ride either way to bars and restaurants. Can't really comment on food as we were self catering but had a pizza from takeaway which was good and reasonably priced. Bar prices as expected 4.50 euro beer 9.00 euro for cocktail.

Excellent value family hotel

We have just returned from an excellent week at Tui Blue alcudia pins!
For context we booked this because it seemed extremely good value (£1300 for half board plus) for 2 adults, 4 year old and a baby. We have not been to a family style resort since we travelled with our own families years ago and did have quite low expectations based on some of the older reviews.
Overall experience:
- rooms were big, well laid out for young families and spotless. Plenty of storage and all you would need for a weeks stay
- the 4 pools were excellent and even when busy there was enough space to make it relaxed… however they are COLD so best to prep kids in advance!
- the food at dinner is probably best described as basic. The main restaurant could get quite busy and full on but the sea view version was much calmer and nicer (maybe time of year). No issue with quality of food as such but it just didn’t seem very exciting.
- breakfast was much better with omelette stations etc. Only issue we had was the hot drinks and fruit juices were all from a machine.
- a good mix of brits and other Europeans which made for a nice experience for our kids to meet lots of new friends!
- plenty of activity options for small kids although would say not well advertised (wish I’d realised about the app earlier).
- we had no idea what to expect for evening entertainment but it was fab. ABBA and elvis acts were v impressive for midweek.
- the beach is absolutely stunning! For us this really made the hotel so worthwhile and I don’t feel this could be replicated in many other areas.
- some really nice beach bars / clubs within 10 min walks if you are looking for something more special (all seemed very kid friendly).
- bus stop to alcudia old town 2 mins from hotel and very easy to use. Can be busy and does seem slow considering it’s not actually far.
All in all I would say this hotel has clearly improved based on previous reviews and for what we paid we were blown away. It was quite busy for May so I would say even for high season there is plenty of space. Would maybe avoid if you are looking for a high standard / choice of food. The location is hard to beat if you are looking for options to explore as well as convenience for young kids.

Dear Bryony
We appreciate you sharing such a detailed overview of your recent stay. Finding great value for a family vacation is so important, and we are delighted that our spacious family rooms, beautiful beach, and evening entertainment exceeded your expectations.
Your constructive observations regarding the dining experience and the advertising of activities are incredibly helpful. We're glad the sea view restaurant gave your dinner a more relaxed atmosphere. We'll take your feedback on the beverage machines and app promotion into account to improve your experience.
It is wonderful to hear that your family enjoyed exploring Alcudia and that your children made new friends by the pools. We would be absolutely delighted to welcome you and your family back for another unforgettable stay in the future.
Warm greetings,

Avoid All Inclusive At All Costs

Booked with TUI as a package holiday, saw the reviews but have come to realise most people use Trip Advisor for a moan, so decided to try it for ourselves. Biggest warning to others, do not go all inclusive! You are wasting your money, go half board! All inclusive doesn’t mean what it says, at the bars there’s about 4 drinks you can have and unless your drinking vodka, you pay for all other drinks, the food is not great, you only want breakfast and an evening meal, trust me, you are better going to the restaurants just outside the resort. Want something from the shop on site, have a bank loan ready! €45 for sun cream… walls are thin, we got no sleep. Infact as I write this now we are listening to a couple arguing in one room and a kid running up and down the hallway, it’s 7am. Staff are friendly and beach is beautiful, entertainment isn’t bad and there is plenty to do, had I not gone all inclusive and felt robbed it would perhaps be a 3*. I just wish I had listened to the other reviews on that front because the holiday was £3,250, then €300 for all inclusive and a further €700 for extra drink, food etc on site that all inclusive didn’t cover.

Dear Nathan,
We appreciate you highlighting our friendly team, entertainment, and beach setting.
Please note that the on-site shop is managed independently, so we have no control over its pricing. Regarding noise, while our room insulation typically receives great feedback, our reception is available 24/7 to resolve any disruptions immediately.
We take your notes on our All-Inclusive offering into account as we continue to refine our guest experience.
Sincerely,
