Fantastic place to relax
Hotel and staff are amazing. Montse on the rooftop bar was excellent
Staff in the restaurant are amazing as are the cleaners. My only complaint is that the rooms don’t have heating and in April we were cold at night. Jumpers are needed as are jeans. Hotel is on the beach. We did the VIP upgrade and weren’t disappointed. Will definitely come back. Excellent family hotel. Not for singles.
Toiletries are in the shower room as is hand soap
Staff in the restaurant are amazing as are the cleaners. My only complaint is that the rooms don’t have heating and in April we were cold at night. Jumpers are needed as are jeans. Hotel exclusively for families, no relaxation.
We are a couple and we stayed at this hotel from 06/21 to 07/02. I want to describe the pros and cons of our stay.
Pros: spacious and clean sea view room. Excellent restaurant, varied and high quality.
Kind and attentive staff.
Cons: only one pool with water games for kids included. Two very small pools for kids. One warm indoor pool full of children. Result: impossible to use for adults! Loud music, screaming entertainment, indescribable chaos of a hundred children playing... no other space for adults except for a small spot right next to the sea. Finding two lounge chairs there means occupying the spots by eight in the morning at the latest!!! Going to breakfast and finding yourself without an umbrella... since they are lacking... asked the pool staff one morning for an umbrella, waited half an hour, three people to get a little shade at 95 degrees?!! The lounge chairs are one right next to the other in triple rows everywhere... except for the expensive 150 sqm Star Prestige lawn!! There is no supervision by the staff, so you pay for nothing... first come, first served!!! In short, I recommend it only and exclusively for families!! At the restaurant in the evening you only hear crying and screaming, obviously they are children... the noise continues until midnight between loud entertainment and games with shrieks... right in the center of the resort near the pool so that they can disturb everyone!! Soundproofing in the rooms is insufficient, you hear the neighbors too much, so more noise! I recommend it to those who have steady nerves and are not looking for relaxation. For couples, look elsewhere.

This hotel is making waves in Alcudia platja de Muro
Brilliant. What a hotel and welcome for 8 nights. This isn’t just a hotel, it’s a “family” of staff that creates memories for guests, daily and nightly. They really do go above and beyond at the Iberostar waves alcudia park to make your holiday special! Reception advised us with bus routes to Alcudia port and the best place to have a chance to view the solar eclipse, shout out to Miquel!
Our room for four was spacious with balcony, cleaned daily, and adequate for the holiday.
The area around the hotel is welcoming with a range of dining options within walking distance, the focus highlight is the stunning sandy beach and warm clean inviting sea that is a joy to swim in. Direct access from hotel too.
Swimming pool is superb, especially the underwater themed water slides, which kids (and adults) of all ages couldn’t get enough of. It certainly entertains and occupies! Poolside refreshments and entertainment excellent, many free drinks and snacks given out around the pool, which was a nice gesture.
Kids’ club and entertainers give their all in a safe environment, with a professional and varied program. Nightly themed entertainment was varied, impressive and popular with guests.
Now onto the food and restaurant buffet, to sum up, 5 star. It really was top, with themed cuisines each night. Waiting staff polite and professional. Delicious fresh food, cooked with love and care and served with a smile - all you could ask for.
Buffet clean and as much or little as you wanted to eat.
Little cafe by reception was also a nice touch with iced coffees and milky coffees to sit in or take out.
We’ll return I’m sure, Iberostar really have “upped” the hotel game with what’s on offer at the Iberostar waves alcudia park.

Speechless
We had such a lovely stay at Iberostar Alcudia Park and honestly didn ’t want to leave! The hotel was wonderful, but what really made our holiday special was the staff, especially the pool bar team.
Eric was incredibly helpful and friendly, and Issan was so kind and sweet every time we saw him. They both made us feel so welcome and really helped make our holiday memorable.
A huge thank you to the whole pool bar team for making our holiday so enjoyable. We’re already hoping to come back again soon — and hopefully my Spanish will be much better next time!

Very disappointing sunbed policy for an expensive family hotel
We paid a lot of money to stay at Iberostar Waves Alcudia Park and unfortunately, the situation around the pool has really taken the shine off the holiday.
I’m awake at around 6:30am and happily get up, go down to the pool area and then go for breakfast before spending the day by the pool with my family. However, the hotel management has instructed the pool staff to chain all of the sunbeds together until 9am every morning.
The result is exactly what you would expect: at 9am it becomes absolute madness, with everyone rushing to try and get beds at the same time. Instead of solving the sunbed problem, the hotel has created an even worse one.
When you pay this much money for a family holiday, you shouldn’t have to take part in a 9am scramble just to get somewhere to sit by the pool. I want to be able to get up early, have breakfast with my family and then come out and relax by the pool, not spend the morning worrying about whether we’ll even get a sunbed.
I understand hotels need to prevent people reserving beds and disappearing for hours, but surely there is a better solution. If somebody reserves beds and doesn’t return within a reasonable amount of time, remove their towels. Chaining every single bed up until 9am just penalises guests who are genuinely up early and want to use the pool area.
For the amount we have paid to stay here, I expected a relaxing premium family holiday experience. Instead, the pool situation feels unnecessarily stressful and badly managed.
