Everything was great! We'll repeat!
We stayed in December at the Turquoise studio and it was a perfect experience. The apartment is renovated, very nice and noticeable attention to detail, has a balcony that offers spectacular views of the sea and Nerja. The cleanliness 10/10, something we highly value. It is a very quiet place, perfect to disconnect and enjoy as a couple. We will repeat without a doubt!

Hotel Romantico. Balcony views
Charming old style hotel with renovated self contained rooms. Excellent views of the sea. Very friendly and informative hosts. Everything provided for an enjoyable stay. Very close to cafes, bars, restaurants and mini markets.

Lovely and colourful
This hotellino is something outside the beaten track. Our room was a large room on ground level, very tastfully decorated, and with a super shower. They heat the water with solar panels, so it’s eco friendly as well. We used the little patio outside as our living room, since we were three people and occupied two of the three rooms on ground level. On the first floor was a lovely room with a balcony, I’d go for that next time. The owners live on top and were very friendly people.
On the other side of the quiet road we had a splendid view towards the ocean down below.
There is no breakfast, but we had a kitchenette. The beach was special, but a long hike, and not easy to find. On the other hand, the caves of Nerja is within walking distance and going up from the beach is a workout in itself. Nerja is but a short taxidrive away and there are several adequate places to eat. Recommend if you prefer it less A4.

Shabby Chic and Super
Picked Casa Maro out of the hat. Small 6 bedroom hotel - it's really an apartment hotel with small kitchenettes - in a quite location, elevated sea views in a village that's truly Spanish. Comfortable beds + beach towels (just for the asking).
Owners, Katerina and Eric, very friendly. Bar and Balcon Restaurant just round the corner.
if I go anywhere near Maro again I'll be staying there. Don't bother with agencies - book direct.

Pleasant hotel
Quite location of maro nerja .unwind & forget .4 very small bars walking distance away with tapa. Beech bar with loungers on maro beach. You will need a car if adventure out of village . Public transport limited at times .... This hotel is clean we'll run in very basic way & total different way to most. You will enjoy the change
