The Best Hotel Receptionist Ever
The hotel is extremely central and very good value for money. Rooms are a good size and comfortable beds and bedding. It’s in a pedestrian street, so very quiet. Good shower, safe and fridge, but the best thing about this hotel is, LAURA!! She is by far the best hotel receptionist we have ever come across. She is so happy and enthusiastic in her work, welcoming, and she spent time with us recommending places to go, and places to eat. All her suggestions were excellent. She was an absolute delight. We have stayed in 5 star hotels around the world and never had such a wonderful receptionist. Have a good life Laura.

Excellent hotel, comfortable and well-located.
First advantage: the parking at the shopping center located 50 minutes away, easily accessible and inexpensive (€9.50 per day).
Second advantage: the location is 500 meters from the cathedral while being quiet.
Third advantage: the friendly and professional welcome.
Fourth advantage: you can have a mini suite (408 or 308 for example) for a moderate price.
The hotel does not serve breakfast, but there is a good bar just downstairs.
Finally, the bedding is very comfortable.
Second advantage: the location is 500 meters from the cathedral while being quiet.

Extraordinary location.
Hotel very well located for all the interesting sights to see in Oviedo as a tourist. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Very clean and with a bidet. Parking in front. Quiet despite being in front of El Corte Inglés. Highly recommended.

Wonderful Stay In Oviedo
We stayed here before starting the Camino Primitivo and enjoyed our stay very much. The room we had was clean and large. The front desk staff were friendly and very helpful. Good location, easy walking distance to many sights and restaurants.

Bed bugs, blood stains and poor excuses…
After our first night of a three night stay, my partner woke up with a bug on them but we didn’t think anything of it, we just brushed it off and got on with our day. Throughout the day my partner came up in loads of red bites all over their back. When we got back to the hotel that evening we told reception we suspected bed bugs and requested another room. We were told there was no rooms available and were given new bed sheets and offered mosquito spray. We thought maybe it was just a few insects just wrapped up in the old sheets so we took the clean sheets. That night at 3am, we woke up to the bed crawling as pictured and recorded. We looked at the bedding closer and it was covered in blood stains. I rang the emergency reception who came over and immediately gave us another room. At this point I was furious as I’d already requested a room change that evening. In the morning I spoke to reception and asked why I wasn’t given a room change when I requested it, but I was given one immediately at 3am and they said it was because someone had booked a room but did not turn up. Not sure I believe this… what would of happened if that wasn’t the case?? Upon checkout they tried to charge me for two of the three nights, I explained we had one night with bed bugs and another night were we had to change rooms at 3am so if I was to anything it would be for the one final night and even then I wasn’t happy to be paying anything based on the inconvenience, stress and the state of my partners skin at this point. Yes, we didn’t pay for the two nights of sleeping with bed bugs but I wouldn’t expect to, there wasn’t anything else in the way of compensation from the hotel for the poor experience and we got told “it’s a global issue”.
