The Hotel Rural La Balconada is located 10 minutes from Oviedo and only 30 minutes from Gijon, Aviles and the central coast of Asturias. Situated strategically close to the coast and Asturian mountains. In the richest biological zones of the country, where you can enjoy our lodge that is surrounded by nature with a rustic atmosphere. This is away from the noise and pollution of the capital but close enough to enjoy the easy access of all the services. All ours bedrooms have been decorated according with the environment that surrounding our hotel; each one has a private bathroom, TV-LCD and central heating.

The most Stunning View over Oviedo, especially at Sunset...

When we've arrived after hundreds km of driving and a tricky 20 times left-right-right-left climbing street with one car widths but double way and have entered The Garden: breathtakingly nice view over the whole city in the stunning Sunset...
About The Garden: lots and lots of flowers and plants, nice mowed lawn with an apparently small, rustic, maybe medieval style in some aspects (doors & windows) - house in the middle.
We loved that place! Even if you didn't have a high-speed WiFi, nor a too comfortable shower, but the VIEW, when I've opened all my medieval-style windows in the morning (room no.18, attic) and take a fresh breath somewhere beyond the city, or that moment during the night when we've savoured a 'copa' of 'vino tinto' in the garden near the rustic tables admiring the lights of the whole city: would have worth everything!
It was definitely the nicest place in my whole Spanish wanderings!

Great rural hotel

A bit tricky to get to the first time but after that no problem. Owner was very hospitable. Dinners with the view of Oviedo were home made and tasty. We had our dog with us and she could run in the big yard. Will definitely stay there the next time in Oviedo. So beautiful. Thanks Santiago for a great stay.

Bit remote

We found this accommodation a bit remote from Oviedo. The wifi was barely reachable in our room for the first hr and them could not be reached for the next 2 nights. It could be reached close to reception and out in the entry to our room. Owner tried very hard to please which was great. Just a little too remote

La casa es muy buena, se duerme muy bien, tiene televisiones en las dos habitaciones.
También te dan de desayunar y todo está muy bueno.
También hay un perro y pasas un rato entretenido con él.
Yo lo recomiendo mucho.

Este Hotel-Rural era una maravilla. Muy acogedor, personal encantador, en una palabra estupendo. Sí vuelvo otra vez a Oviedo allí me ven otra vez. Cada habitación era amueblado de una manera diferente, muy como en casa.
El único fallo era el comedor. Se tiene que salir del hotel al exterior para llegar al desayuno y si llueve, mal asunto. Pero es un mal menor.
Las vistas desde el jardín halucinante. A tus pies se ve Oviedo y un paisaje que te quita el hipo.
A mí me ha gustado muchiiiisimo.
