Modern rooms, amazing breakfast

The hotel is in the center of the camino action, surrounded by several restaurants. It is not much to look at from the outside, but once inside, you find a completely modern refresh with clean rooms and an amazing breakfast offering. We were very happy with our stay and the staff was super helpful and friendly.

Buen Camino

I had very high hopes after reading the reviews and to be honest the room was great, however we were in a room one floor up, with windows facing the street and it was so noisy we couldn’t get to sleep till about midnight. Sleep is important to old folks walking the Camino!! We were told the pubs etc closed at 9:30 and as this was a Saturday night we thought that noise wasn’t going to be an issue.
On a positive note the breakfast looked very very good.
It’s in a great location and aside from the noise we would have given it a higher review.
Maybe it needs double glazing ‍♀️

Best hotel in Palas de Rei - with fantastic breakfasts!

We were hiking the Camino de Santiago and as we do 1 week of hiking each year, we had actually stayed here on our last night LAST year, which meant that we stayed here again THIS year. Palas de Rei is a small town on the Camino de Frances - not much here - but Hotel Trina 20 is excellent and in a very central location. The lady on reception speaks minimal English but she is very friendly & helpful and we always manage. The rooms are modern, clean, contemporary & comfortable. The best bit however is the breakfast - it is like a boutique hotel - there is a big selection but everything is very good quality, with lots of local ingredients and always freshly squeezed orange juice. We have finally finished hiking the 800k or so Camino however this hotel was certainly one of the best - thank you!

Over and above

This is a very comfortable hotel in a v good location. All the staff there were extremely helpful and gave great customer service. They went over and above expectations. I left my tablet there and only realised when I was a few miles away. I contacted them and they very kindly brought it to me. This was outstanding service. I would definitely stay there again
