Excellent

It's been a tenner, to repeat. We booked room with balcony and it was worth its price. The room is spacious, clean and well maintained. The mattress, and I'm a ticker, I have to say it was a category. Bathroom with large shower. The restaurant is coquettish and very welcoming. The outstanding food, we ask fideuá with certain doubts, because we are of valency where it takes a lot and not anything adds us, and it was quite a success, it was very good and the amount more than generous. Very good desserts too. If there is anything that improves this hotel more certainly is the staff, everyone is friendly and attentive from the receptionist, waiters, cleaning, etc. but ceasing what is of the cesar, the "strong dish" of the staff is Juan one of the waiters, a crack that made us feel quickly at home, salao, cheerful and with very clear vocation to the customer. Thank you Juan, you're a crack!

Mediocre breakfast

We ordered a coffee with milk and a croissant, and they gave it to me reheated in the microwave and dry.

Excellent stay.

Very nice hotel, very nice view from our room on the castle and the beach. Welcoming and smiling staff. Half board perfect. We'll be back in a few years.

It's somewhat difficult to get to Peniscola, and leave Peniscola. There's limited taxi service; the regional bus is really the best option to and from the train station. The desk staff would best counsel guests by just telling them to hop on the bus. If the taxi thing can be worked out and advance notice can help, then do advise guests upon check-in. Every other hotel in Europe seems to do this. The actual stay on the property is otherwise unremarkable.
