We had a very pleasant stay in Ponferrada Plaza. It's located next to the train station, and a short 8 minutes walk from the bus station. We were able to check in early, around 12 o'clock, without any problems, and they have kindly stored our hired bikes (sent from Santiago) for a few days before our stay. All the reception staff we encountered were polite and helpful. Our room was quite big, well equipped and had comfy beds. It was great having a bath in our bathroom! This was the only place during our camino where we could enjoy soaking up the water in the bath. We didn't eat at the restaurant, or used their bar. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and would recommend it.

A good option for resting.

A good hotel that, although it is not in the center, is well located and connected. We took a triple room, a bit small for 3 people, well maintained, little noise, good mattresses. The worst part was that it was very hot and the air conditioning barely cooled. We parked in the hotel's external free parking lot. Otherwise, parking is good in the surrounding area.

Poor treatment from the receptionists, the facilities leave much to be desired, we will not return.

Regrettable

Regrettable and outrageous treatment from the workers of this hotel. I would not recommend it to anyone. They apply conditions without having informed them beforehand, and even if it was a mistake on their part, they inform you that they will not refund your money.

Good hotel by the way

It is not central but it is quite close to the city. We came here last minute and agreed to stay at the hotel for a couple of days. The room very well and the breakfast buffet large and varied.
