to eat

To eat it is a good place in Rota, it has good fried and grilled fish. It also has a varied menu with meats, salads and stews.
100% recommended to get away from what the new bars offer, here you enjoy the traditional.

The Balcony Room

Friendly and helpful staff. Did not speak much english but made a great effort. Surprisingly room had a wonderful balcony overlooking street. This was a single room, so unfortunately a couple could not enjoy the cozy atmosphere.
Excellent location in downtown, near to the beach. Would definitely return for another stay.

A pleasant surprise

This little hotel is a gem in the midst of Rota. The staff are willing to help you get anything you need from wine glasses and an extra cup of coffee to recommendations for shopping and restaurants. We had read many negative reviews about the rooms, the fans, beds, lack of hot water and now after the 4 (2 couples) of us have stayed in 3 rooms each over 3 stays we can tell you none of those were found while we were here. Breakfast was just simple and good. Bought some cheese and fruit across the street at the bakery to go with it.
We were most impressed with Juan Carlos as he always had a smile and a yes to all our requests. Sergio was also very friendly and helpful.
It is NOT a luxury hotel but the price is not that either...got more than what we expected!

Hostal correcto, sin pretensiones

Nos hemos alojado 2 noches en este hostal, que como su categoría indica, no se pueden esperar grandes pretensiones.
La habitación de tamaño correcto, pero el baño muy pequeño. La ducha tenía columna de ducha, pero la alcachofa no funcionaba, salía muy poca agua, pero no era problema teniendo la parte de arriba de modo lluvia.
Desayuno básico, correcto, café + tostada + zumo de bote.
La ubicación es genial, en el centro de Rota.
Las sábanas necesitan un cambio urgente, están amarillentas y tienen bolitas, de tantos lavados.
El ruído por la mañana cuando empezaba el movimiento de gente, se oía bastante el piso superior.

Fantástico descanso

Um hostal muito simpático.
Quarto básico, com o essencial, frigo, microondas e TV. Infelizmente não conseguia apanhar a rede Wi-Fi.
Quarto limpo e arrumado todos os dias. Toalhas incluídas.
Falta um pequeno estendal para a roupa de praia.
Comida caseira e típica da zona. Caracóis e peixe frito.
Pequeno almoço simples, torrada com manteiga, tomate, café com leite e sumo.
Em frente existe uma pastelaria sempre cheia.
Fica a 300m da praia. E a 300m da feira que há todas as quartas feiras.
Muitos bares e cafés ao redor. Há muito poucas lojas de recordações ou roupa. Tem muitas ruas para passear.
Como tem a base naval americana tem sempre muitos americanos a passear.
Local muito simpático e a repetir não fossem as 7 horas de viagem.
