Great hotel on the beach, close to Castle, Church, Marina, and bars/restaurants. Pool was great as was the bar and the breakfast buffet.

Peaceful nights rest in the heart of all the action!

Hotel Duque exceeded all expectations. My room on the 2nd floor was directly above O'Grady's Pub during the World Cup celebrations. Even with matches happening at 2:00 AM and massive city celebrations outside, my room was completely quiet — I slept like a baby all night.
I was surprised by the size of the room and bathroom. I believe this was a standard double and it was grand, with plenty of closet space! The room and hotel was very clean and well worth the cost of our stay.
The breakfast buffet was delicious with a great selection, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

By far the most beautiful, relaxing, quiet hotel I've ever been to and the most outstanding room. I had a great view, the balcony was very comfortable, the bathroom was exceptionally luxurious. Staff was very nice. Gym has the coolest view ever! Pool area is great and the beach is about twenty steps away!

They have not allowed us to leave the car in the parking lot until our departure.

This year we are leaving with a very bad taste in our mouths because they did not have the courtesy to allow us to leave the car for a couple more hours in the parking lot (when it was half empty and we stayed to eat at the hotel). We had to take it out and leave it in a street parking spot in full sun. I don't think we will return. We found it to be an insult.

Lamentamos sinceramente que se haya marchado con esa sensación.
Entendemos que un cliente pueda mostrar su malestar cuando no se cumple un servicio contratado, pero en este caso se trata de una ampliación del uso del parking una vez finalizada la estancia, algo que no podemos dar siempre por garantizado.
Nos habría encantado poder facilitarle ese detalle de cortesía, como hacemos siempre que es posible, más aún sabiendo que se quedaba a almorzar en el hotel. Sin embargo, el aparcamiento cuenta con plazas limitadas y debemos respetar también a los clientes que llegan ese mismo día y que tienen derecho a disponer de su plaza desde su llegada. Aunque pudiera parecer que había plazas libres, estas estaban previstas para las entradas previstas durante esa jornada.
Sentimos las molestias ocasionadas y lamentamos que esta situación haya empañado el recuerdo de su estancia.

Loved this hotel

Amazing hotel!
We loved the place, the rooms, the view to the sea, the swimming pool and of course the restaurant.
Highly recommended if you plan a trip to Rota.
