Amazing stay, the building has a charm worth experiencing.
Hotels.com should update the Google maps link, as when selecting the directions using the app sent us to a farm in the middle of nowhere 10miles away from the property

Hotel with spectacular surroundings and facilities, but an experience far below expectations.

What disappointed us the most was the spa area, occupied by small children playing, screaming, jumping into the water, balls, floats. They were not doing anything inappropriate for their age; the problem is that the hotel does not differentiate a relaxation space from a family pool. Several guests shared the same discomfort.
When we conveyed it to the staff, the response was that they could not do anything. We did not expect an immediate solution, but we did expect empathy or, at least, an apology. There were none.
For a one-night stay, too many incidents accumulated: the dinner service was suspended without prior notice; we could not enjoy the massages because there was no availability until after our departure; the Wi-Fi was broken for hours; the parking door did not work; the room's jacuzzi had inoperative functions; and a good part of the time we were accompanied by mowing and clearing machinery, whose work continued during the morning and resumed around 2:30 PM.
The staff's attention was correct, but far from the level of friendliness, empathy, and customer orientation we expected. The breakfast is varied, although the product quality seemed average and industrial to us.
We only stayed 1 night. I do not want to be categorical. Maybe we had bad luck. But there were too many incidents for such a short time. Huge potential, but our experience was far from what we expected.

The hotel grounds were beautiful. We changed our original room because of strong mold odor in it. The second room also smelled of mold. It was so strong an odor that several days since our stay, our clothing/luggage still has a moldy residue smell. That said, the staff was very accommodating, breakfast was lovely.

WE DECIDED TO LEAVE EARLY

We booked 5 nights in this hotel for its high score on a well-known hotel platform but, after two days of stay, we decided to leave and take the economic loss. From day one we realized we were wrong. Although clean, the facilities were very old-fashioned, breakfast very poor and dinner was not much better. Very noisy dining room. The pool is always very full and noisy. We asked the hotel some gesture for the 3 nights we left free in high season (replaceable easily) and they had no gesture. A few days later we were offered a voucher to return to the hotel for the amount of one night. We obviously don't accept it. We didn't like the hotel. We felt that was a very inappropriate solution. I don't recommend anything.

Beautiful place. Third time have stayed. Very upset restaurant was closed, it would have been best to have known before booking, as booking wasn't cancellable.
