a good hotel for a stopover
excellent address for a break on the vacation route. I can only recommend this hotel! smiling welcome, hot drinks, lemon water, and pastries available for free (something never seen before in a hotel chain) the rooms are clean, comfortable, soundproofed, and air-conditioned. we were on the 4th floor with a view of the parking lot. it can indeed be difficult to park (we arrived at 3 PM and there was still a little space left in the hotel's small parking lot) in the immediate vicinity of a very large shopping center and the Mercadona. you have the possibility to do some shopping and eat in the hotel's breakfast room (microwave available).

Dreadful Location if you wish to see Girona
I consider this hotel to advertise its location falsely. The Hotel is not in Girona but in Salt which is a separate town and is a long way from Girona's old town. The area in which the hotel sits is industrial and deprived. We did not feel safe there. We had to take two buses each day to get to the old town of Girona. The reviews all say the location is good, it is not.
The hotel itself is fine, clean and breakfast is good.

Clean and fresh rooms, lovely breakfast and lots available.
Nice and close to Girona centre plus a fab shopping mall 2 minutes walk round the corner too

We took 2 rooms, one for the children and one for us.In the 2 in horrible heat, the air conditioning only threw hot air.We asked to change rooms, and exactly the same thing happened.The hotel parking was not closed, there was a homeless man playing gorilla (begging for alms to tell you where to park), this I had not seen in a hotel in my life

Lamentamos sinceramente la sensación de calor que sufrieron en ambas habitaciones. Nos gustaría aclarar que, debido a las temperaturas exteriores de esas fechas, el sistema central de climatización del hotel se encontraba aún en modo calefacción. Entendemos perfectamente que la temperatura no fue la ideal para su familia y sentimos las molestias que esto les causó, así como el hecho de que el cambio de habitación no resolviera el problema al tratarse de un sistema general.
Esperamos que en el futuro nos de otra oportunidad y vuelva alojarse en el hotel.
