Excellent hosts and great location

A great experience in La Rioja overall. Mercedes and Clara are very knowledgeable and helpful. Very clean and nice breakfasts.

If you're in La Rioja this place is a must

Stayed in this delightful hotel for two nights. We were greeted and looked after by Clara and Mercedes who couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. They are both extremely knowledgeable about the area and only too pleased to advise. The rooms are lovely and the ambience of the hotel is more like staying in someone's house. Breakfast was most enjoyable with a good variety of choices including freshly squeezed orange juice and even boiled eggs. Just fabulous. San Asensio itself is a small pueblo with cool narrow streets and very interesting to explore. This was a return visit for two of us which can sometimes be a disappointment but it was just as fantastic as we remember. Thank you Clara and Mercedes.

Extraordinary experience. The treatment of Mercedes and Clara unbeatable, very good recommendations of cultural, gastronomic visits. All from ten, hotel, facilities, breakfast, ideal location to visit the area.We will return safe!

Our trip to La Rioja, centered on San Asensio, has met all expectations thanks to the kindness and treatment we have received from Clara and Mercedes, starting from the advice of visitors and the exquisite treatment received in their accommodation, reflected in the magnificent hotel they run which exceeds the expectations of any Traveler. Highlight how quiet, cozy and comfortable this hotel is... breakfast would like some of five stars to have it. Hotel and village totally recommended to rest and relax, as well as enjoy a very family atmosphere. We have to go back.
