New experience for us.
We booked this stay as an overnight near to the airport .It was my first experience of accomodation when no one is there to book us in.You collect a key outside the property and follow instructions to open the main door.Assistance given by telephone if needed.
The place was very clean and as descibed.
We loved the balcony .Would recommend some throws for the balcony seating as it can get chilly on an evening.
Tea and coffee in the room was a nice touch as its not always present.Only problem was being asked to use only mimeral water in the kettle so I had to go and buy some straight away.
Room was very quite despite the noisey bar close by .When we went to bed there was a noise (like an extracter fan noise) above us. Not sure what it was as it kept coming and going.It woke me 3 or 4 times.
Bed was very confortable.
Within easy reach of shops and restaurants.5 minutes by taxi to airport.We used the recommended taxi service which was promt and reasonable although you cannot book in advance.

Helpful host, quick responses, smooth check in process, warm hospitality. Only issue was the shower leaks out easily due to the structure.

Just Amazing
What an amazing place to stay.
Fantastic area. Great little pool to have a dip in with pool towels provided.
Never stayed in a place so clean and fresh. Loved all the decor around the place gave it such a personal touch. Thank you so much. If I visit the area again I will definitely be staying again.

Relaxing retreat vibe
Walked into the most calming room we've ever stayed in instantly relaxed. The whole place was like a little oasis of calm, Axel you have achieved something wonderful. Would highly recommend, it's close to beach with bars/restaurants first time in playa Honda and won't be the last . Such a quiet relaxing vibe.

Very basic
You enter through a gate from a narrow street into a very small front garden with a tiny pool dirty at the bottom. You then go into very small communal area with a tatty well worn sofa and two breakfast tables. It all had the feel of a basic youth hostel. We stayed in the orange room; small with a nice comfortable king sized bed. No balcony or fridge and nowhere to make tea or coffee. He provided a coffee machine downstairs if you wanted little expresso coffees for 1.50€. There was a kettle of water by coffee machine so I made my own coffee, but had to wash up my cafetierre in the bathroom as there is no access to a kitchen. There is a fridge full of drinks that you could purchase, but no room in it for your own bottle of wine or milk. The breakfast provided was very basic. On our last day he informed us he couldn't make us breakfast because he had to rush out. There are two old bikes you can borrow, but so old the rubber handle is disintergrating and your hands get covered in sticky black rubber. For the money charged you can get a self catering apartment which would be ideal as there is a lovely big supermarket nearby in a shopping arcade. You walk down three narrow streets to get to the beach, not too far. A few restaurants there but only restaurants, nothing else. You can't use his pool towels for the beach.
We asked him about excursion to Timafaya, he gave us his own excursion leaflet which was 90€ each. We got one for 31€ with first minute excursions.
