Great quiet area very close to Castle and gardens. Beautiful hotel in and outside. Rooms slightly rustic. Would have loved pool and pool area to be available end-May.

The SmartBox trap.

Never give gift boxes from paradores. It is almost impossible to use them when one has available time since they do not accept reservations either on weekends or during high season, in general. They are a trap. We were given a one-night stay at the Parador de La Granja for our birthday; we checked that the parador was available on the dates we were interested in and booked a golf outing at Faisanera. When we wanted to formalize the room at the Parador, it was not possible to do so despite availability; it was not available for "SmartBox" nor could we redeem the corresponding amount of the gift. We had to book a room through the conventional route. The SmartBox is still waiting there...
Don't fall for it, generous givers: your gift will remain fallow waiting for it to expire, as has already happened to me three times with the gift boxes from paradores. Perfect business.

Entendemos perfectamente su decepción al no haber podido utilizar su caja regalo en las fechas deseadas, especialmente teniendo ya planificada su escapada y otras actividades.
No obstante, nos gustaría aclarar que la disponibilidad y condiciones de reserva de las cajas regalo SmartBox son gestionadas directamente a través de su propio canal de reservas y cupos asignados, independientes de la disponibilidad general del Parador. Por este motivo, puede ocurrir que existan habitaciones disponibles para reserva directa, pero no para canje mediante este tipo de productos.
Aun así, comprendemos que esta diferencia pueda resultar confusa y agradecemos sinceramente que haya compartido su opinión. Sus comentarios son importantes y contribuyen a mejorar la información y comunicación ofrecida durante el proceso de reserva.
Esperamos tener la oportunidad de recibirla en el futuro y que pueda disfrutar plenamente de la experiencia Paradores.

Although we really enjoyed our stay, a few things would’ve improved it. The bar stopped serving food very early, and we didn’t have a chance to get dinner, so I was kind of disappointed about that. Although there were a few friendly staff members, overall, I thought that people could smile more and be a little bit more friendly with gas. There was a few exchanges that I had with the front desk, where I didn’t find the staff members to be friendly, but a little bit brusque. The location is great.

Noise pollution

There is a clock of a church in the area that quarters and hours with a hellish noise day and night. If you propose to rest is not a good option.
