The room I had was magnificent, with a fabulous view over the bay, and perfectly clean. Breakfast was good, with a very diverse choice including eggs, sausages, charcuterie, cheese, pastries, fruit etc. Staff were helpful, with recommendations for good viewing locations for the total eclipse. Be sure to use the stairs to see the varied art and decor of each landing and floor.
The whole hotel was perfectly clean and tidy, but needs more thorough attention to minor ongoing repairs; small things like a set of plug sockets (and hence one bedside light) not working, a dubious join in the flex to a lamp, a shower-head holder which would not stay in position, a misted glazing unit, and the electronic safe lock not working (so I was entrusted with a key instead).

A short walk and escalator ride to all that Santander has to offer. Our room had a lovely view of the bay. Enormously helpful and friendly staff, who went out of their way to assist us!

We were originally looking for a hotel close to the Sardinero beach, but this turned out to be the ideal choice, since it is so close to the main part of the city, elevated on a hill with great views of the sea and within walking distance of great bars and restaurants, yet quiet and private. A major highlight was the staff, the friendliest and most helpful we've experienced in a long time. This was not just one person, everyone. We arrived very late and there was someone waiting for us, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The room was very clean and comfy. I recommend paying a bit extra for the views.

the staff very friendly. Location is not good is on a hill and far from the places that you want to go. The A/C didnt work. The room was a sauna, we reported 4 times and they didnt fix it. There are better places to stay

Beautiful view of the bay

Cozy hotel, young and friendly staff, large room with large terrace and views of the bay (n.304). The area is quiet and peaceful, in a few minutes you can go down the streets of nightlife with locals for all tastes and all budgets. From the centre, you can easily reach the hotel thanks to the combination of comfortable escalators and a lift. Breakfast in a comfortable room with well spaced tables, excellent choice of sweet and savory, hot and cold drinks. Value for money more than good.
It could be perfect with a mini fridge - even if not stocked - where you can keep water cool and with a wardrobe a little 'more capacious or at least an external coat rack.
