Vacation in Santander

Hotel in the center of Santander, with parking at a reasonable price on reservation. Home, WIFI OK. Possibility to have breakfast. Very large room, with small office, storage unit, beautiful bathroom with walk-in shower. Comfortable.

Basic hotel at premium price

Basic hotel in the port area of the city. 20 mins walk from centre. Not the most appealing area of the city. Stayed during Grand Semana, and were charged over 200Euro a night to stay room only. Very expensive for what is in my opinion at best a 2 star standard hotel.
No bar, breakfast room only.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Hotel generally clean. Room was clean and comfortable with large terrace but very basic. No tea or coffee making facilities or fridge. No towels in room ...was told at reception to get them ourselves from the cupboard in reception. Breakfast was adequate for 10 euro.
Had an issue with online checkin where once completed received a 'scam' email from an unknown address with the booking details and a link to a different site telling me booking details were incomplete and needed to be completed before reservation could be confirmed. Had to contact hotel directly who told me it was a scam but the issue was with Booking com?
Overall impression, would not stay here again. Better options with facilities in nore desirable city centre location available at the sane price or lower.

Damp and mold problems

The staff is friendly and the hotel looks renovated. But they have a serious problem with dampness… As soon as we got out of the elevator (our room was on the 2nd floor) it already smelled a lot like damp, the bathroom smelled like a sewer and, most importantly, the entire wall facing the window was full of mold, which is unsanitary and toxic. It leaves a lot to be desired, I hope they can improve it.

Comfortable and cheap hotel to visit Santander

A comfortable hotel to visit Santander. In ten minutes walk you arrive at the train station and little else to the city center. The reception girl was very attentive with us, we stayed for a weekend and the hotel is practically new. Clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was also very good. I recommend the hotel.

Good price and acceptable quality.

We stayed 6 nights. The staff and the boss, Dolores, were excellent. Soundproof room: sleeps without any noise; beds somewhat soft but rests well; large bathroom and good shower; new hotel; cafeteria on the ground floor open at all hours. The location is somewhat away from the center but there is a bus stop very close which takes you to the center and to the Sardinero. The only negative is, as other users comment, the smell of the bathroom, which is a bit annoying. In general if I return to Santander I think I will stay at this hotel.
