The room was very clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and refreshing. The front desk staff especially Daniel were very kind and welcoming. Enjoyed my stay.

Nice little boutique hotel, well located in Santander
I enjoyed my stay at this small boutique hotel.
I had short wait for checkin as the hotel receptionist was busy dealing with someone else. However during checkin I think I got the most informative and lengthy explanation of the hotel and its facilities that I have ever had at a hotel anywhere, as well as recommendations for local eating places, all in Spanish which I appreciated (and understood!) as I’m learning and these interactions help. The receptionist then showed me to my room and gave another informative explanation of the room facilities. At reception I was also offered a glass of cava which I declined as I was hot having just walked with my suitcase from Santander train station.
I booked a premier room (without balcony) and stayed in Room 11 near reception on the ground floor. As the hotel is small it was quiet with no noise disturbance from other guests. At the rear the room is at first floor level with a view over the garden and small pool.
Room was not large but sufficient for me with a double bed (comfortable for me), smart TV, mini fridge, capsule coffee maker, central heating and very effective air conditioning. The hotel provides some small breakfast items in the room that were sufficient for me - sabao’s (local cake), fruit, yogurt and hand-made biscuits.
Bathroom was very large with sink, toilet and walk-in shower.
Hotel is located in a quiet street in the Puertochico area of Santander, so is a short walk down to the port promenade where you can get buses to other parts of Santander such as the Sardiniero beaches and the ferries to Somo.
Overall, a good stay and well done to the staff for providing excellent customer service.

When I have driven for three and a half hours all I want is to check in go to my room. I do not want a glass of Cava, told to sit on a sofa and be lectured on the delights of Santander. There is only parking for six vehicles at the property so we were directed to a car park which we could not find. Fortunately we managed to find a space on the street after several attempts of up and down. Had we managed to find the car park it was two euros an hour which would have cost us at least thirty euros. When we were eventually shown to our room the member of staff insisted on carrying a bag and said she would get into trouble if I did not allow her to do so. That's not management, that's bullying! Whilst the room was clean and the bed comfortable it smelt of drains. We were told not to adjust the temperature of the air con because it affect the other rooms??? The complimentary breakfast consisted of an apple, an orange and a chunk of a traditional sponge cake. I don't blame the staff because they are trying their best. A boutique hotel it was not and quite frankly I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot barge pole.

The apartment hotel is in a great location, and is modern in design.
We experienced a few faults in our stay - the WiFi didn’t work the first night, and we couldn’t have a hot shower on our last day.
We also moved rooms, as our room smelt of drains - we were moved into a smaller room where the issue persisted. The first room also had shampoo that smelt of sulphur!
Overall the hotel was ok, the location made the property being so close to the restaurant district and within walking distance to the beach. The complimentary breakfast was a nice addition, and being able to use a umberella (because let’s face it you’ll need one.) But the rooms being open with the toilet shower etc was not something I would enjoy to stay in again.

A wonderful little hotel with exceptionally motivated staff
Rarely experienced such a motivated staff as in this small boutique hotel - attentive from start to finish - beautiful bright room with coffee, tea , water , fruit and pastries - changing daily
