Lovely Hotel
Had a great holiday. The hotel was fabulous. The rooms were just what we asked for (ground floor and near to each other). Towels changed daily if needed. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were good especially the croissants and pizza, which were cooked freshly in the restaurant. The two beaches were lovely - feeding the fish by hand whilst in the sea was a wonderful experience. Entertainment was always in French so we didn't participate. The water in the taps and shower is salty but the drinking water which we got from receprion (filled our own bottles from the water machine) was fine. Very clean and reception are always smelt lovely. Look forwrd to going back :-)

Good service & a relaxing place
We had a lovely stay! The service was excellent. Hamid and the other staff members are always happy to help and are incredibly kind and helpful. At night, you can sometimes hear some music from outside, but we didn’t find it too disturbing. The activities they organize throughout the week, such as flamingo dancers and bingo nights, are really fun and well organized. They create a great atmosphere and really bring everyone together. Overall, a very enjoyable place to stay!

Animation team and adult pool 4*
We are returning guests at this hotel. This visit was for 10 nights.
We were allocated room 73 in block 4. The room had a back and front door with a small garden area and was situated near the adult pool. Whilst we were delighted with the location of the room it did have a very strong smell of dampness. We tried to overcome this by opening the windows and doors frequently. We were also visited by a rather large cockroach on one occasion and several wood louse which we just caught & put back outside again. The lovely cleaning lady gave us a spray for the room.
We were left fresh towels most days and our beds were made and the floor mopped.
We used the adult pool every day and found it to be so peaceful and relaxing. There are another 2 family pools and a baby pool too. You can generally within reason move your sun loungers to your nearby garden if you want. The life guards are really good in the way that they will promptly remove any adults who flaunt the rules and bring their kids to this ADULT ONLY pool.
The animation team are mostly the same fantastic crew who were here last year. Tata, Val, Coco and some others. These guys work nonstop to entertain and keep the atmosphere lively for all. The weekly foam
party and evening pool party are absolute highlights for everyone. We loved them. Sadly these guys won’t be back next year and they will be missed. They try to involve all nationalities and although the guests are mostly French, everything is repeated in English too.
The restaurant food was fine for us and we could always find something to eat. Hot food, salad bar, pizza pasta, cakes galore. Staff in the restaurant were polite and work hard. Standouts were a young chef called AYUB who just worked so much harder by constantly replenishing food up and down the entire middle pass. Another mention is to a young extremely polite girl called Mayra who cleared tables. Speaking to her was a pleasure. The restaurant is really busy and you get used to the noise and the queues.
The hotel is situated in Cala Egos and there’s a cove to explore just at the end of the street. The area has bars and restaurants to frequent and also shops. We love Cala Egos and think there is enough in the area although not as busy as central Cala d’Or. Don’t forget to hop on the Ting Ting train for 5 euros and see more of Cala d’Or. A highlight for us was seeing the turquoise water at Cala Esmeralda and drinks in Sa Cala beach club.

Disappointing stay with small positive highlights
We recently stayed at Palia Dolce Farniente, and while there were some positives, there were also a few disappointing aspects.
The location is definitely the hotel’s biggest strength. It’s right in the centre of Cala Egos, with plenty of lovely bars and restaurants nearby. We’d highly recommend Bambu Cocktail Bar! There’s also a bus stop just a minute’s walk away, making it really easy to visit other areas. We got a taxi back from Cala d’Or one evening for around €6, but be aware that taxis can be very difficult to find later at night. A local driver told us many finish work in the evening. We eventually managed to get one after asking the nearby TUI Blue hotel to help us book one, so it’s worth planning ahead. There’s also a lovely beach just a short walk from the hotel turn left out of the entrance and head down the steps.
The pool area is very busy, so if you’re looking for a quieter atmosphere, this may not be the best choice. During our stay, there also wasn’t much of a mix of nationalities. The entertainment is only in Spanish and French. There were mainly groups of French people, and unfortunately we experienced some rude behaviour from them on several occasions, which affected our experience. Although, that’s not the hotels fault but Jet2’s on not informing us.
The all-inclusive package was probably the biggest disappointment. The snack bar served almost the same food every day with very little variety, and the main restaurant was much the same. We found the quality of the food to be quite poor overall. The pizza, however, was genuinely very good and was one of the highlights of the food on offer.
Overall, this hotel is in a fantastic location and is a great base for exploring Cala Egos and Cala d’Or. However, the food, busy pool area, and some aspects of the atmosphere meant it didn’t quite live up to our expectations and would not return.

Wonderful Stay and Amazing Service from Hamid !!!
We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. Everything went very smoothly, the service was excellent, and we really enjoyed our experience. A special thank you to Hamid, who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. He was always available, friendly, and took the time to answer all our questions and make sure everything went well. We truly appreciated his kindness and professionalism. A great experience overall. highly recommended!
