Convenient

Close to everything. Nothing special but a cheaper place to stay if you want your own room. Have stayed here three different times and never experienced any problems. Only thing that I do not like is that there is no place to wash and hang your clothes.

THE PAIN AND SADNESS FROM SANTA CRUZ HOSTEL SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA SPAIN

The experience is so sad and horrible. Staff so unfriendly. They run the place like the guest are inmates. The guy that is there in the evening, is so unprofessional and inhospitable. Guest can't sleep because the noise from the street is so loud and it's all nights and day. If you have PTS or anxiety panic, high blood pressure PLACE DO NOT ATEMPT TO BOOK SANTA CRUZ SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA SPAIN. Change staff, overhaul the entire setting. Location alone is not enough to make a good accommodation. I am never going to recommend Santa cruz hostel.

Bad, lack of cleanliness and conditions.

Service/Customer service and awful facilities!
Processing the customer with contempt and superiority, as if the customers were merchandise.
Poor installations: in the rooms electrical sockets without protection, electrical wires without being isolated, old beds-beddings without security, lack of cleanliness in the rooms and common areas, bichos on the walls.
Miniature bathrooms, dirty, clogged and nauseabundant, without hot water to get a bath!
1 bathroom and a tiny shower for more than 16 people.
There should be an inspection by the competent authorities.
The photographs exhibited by the entity on the official websites do not correspond to what the facilities are!
The only point in favor is the location.

There are much better options

The room is very basic and there is noise from the hospitality outside at night. The beds are rickety and squeak. The shower rooms/toilet have no privacy from the corridor. The staff were rude.
The building is nice. There is coffee and a sink in the room.

Bed bugs, bed bugs, bed bugs!!! This was by far the worst place I have ever stayed. I was eaten alive by beg bugs and had to go to the hospital for meds. Run for it. Better sleep outside!!! When I went to the woman to complain she said her place was clean. I can assure you its not. I was several friends and they too were eating alive by bed bugs and god know what else was in this place.
