More than a bed and brealfast

A hotel appropriate to the type of excursion we hired. No frills. Clean, spacious rooms. Friendly staff. It's not central.
Modest breakfast, without much variety, but correct
The extremely spacious dining room

Lack of warmth

We arrived one day Saturday afternoon, did not attend the cafeteria on the weekend, unfriendly staff. The rooms are good, clean. Breakfast for 8 euros, quite complete. Far from the city but with free parking.
We miss more warmth.

My wife and I stayed here for one night before an early morning flight back to the UK after a glorious week touring Galicia in a rental car. The hotel is not exactly in the most attractive area but the location was very convenient for us being less than 15 minutes drive from the airport and a similar distance to the heart of Santiago de Compostela, where we visited for a second time in the evening. It would be a good base if not wanting to stay in the hustle and bustle of the city with plenty of car parking.
The hotel and our room was very clean and comfortable and we appreciated the fridge in the room. The staff were very friendly and helpful and all in all it was very good value. We did not use the cafeteria as we were only there for a short while and had to check out at 04:30 in the morning for an early flight home.
The only problem we experienced was that my wife is disabled and confined to a wheelchair with only one leg. There is a tiled ramp to get access to the front upper steps but it was quite steep and it felt like it was initially built as a baggage ramp, although there is a good handrail if required. To get from the front upper steps into the hotel, a small metal ramp was provided with a handrail on one side, but again it was quite steep and on first entry my wife’s front wheels did lift up into the air causing some consternation. The staff were very helpful and were quick to offer their physical help for further entries & exits, which was appreciated.

Antisocial and rude staff

Very rude and even rude and antisocial staff that you can get into a fight with. They don't care about anything else. Food very bad. Presses a negative something on Tui and Calicie which is mite more erasable!

This hotel was advertised on Hotels.com as being 0.8 km from Siguero, as I was on foot doing the Comino Inglés, which is why I booked it. It isn’t, it is almost 6 km from Siguero. Other than that, they have no restaurant (closed on weekends) no vending machines, no water, no coffee, etc. Furthermore the air conditioning is non existent, it will turn on but never cool the room, also I reason I booked this hotel.
