A small gem
Beautiful boutique hotel just a few steps from the historic center of Santiago, very nice and professional staff, elegant rooms with a great view of the cathedral, breakfast is very good with fresh and delicious products, what can I say, highly recommended

Perfect chilled escape
We had a the perfect 4-night stay at Gaio 7 and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santiago De Compostela.
It’s around 15/20 min taxi €25-30 from the airport and the location is wonderful… right beside the park and only a 5–10 minute stroll to the main area and the Cathedral, making it easy to explore the city while still enjoying a peaceful setting.
The breakfast was outstanding. As a coeliac, I really appreciated the care and attention the team took every morning to ensure I had a safe and delicious breakfast. It made such a difference to our stay.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and has lots of thoughtful touches, including dressing gowns, slippers, and lovely toiletries. We also really enjoyed relaxing in the plunge pool and garden each day, and the complimentary nibbles served with drinks were a lovely extra.
Our room was on the smaller side, but it was perfectly comfortable for the two of us and had everything we needed.
What truly sets Gaio 7 apart is the exceptional staff. Everyone was so warm, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help with recommendations and advice. A special thank you to Rachelle and the entire team for making our stay so memorable and ensuring everything was perfect.
If you're looking for a hotel with a warm, welcoming atmosphere where the team genuinely goes the extra mile, Gaio 7 is the perfect choice. We would definitely stay here again.

Superb breakfast, wonderful and helpful staff, fabulous outdoor garden and pool area- not many hotels with pools this close into the old town.
Location is awesome with a 5 minute walk to the cathedral. Room was clean and modern - smallish but still lovely and with a view of the cathedral.
The only downside is that the floors are very squeaky and you can hear other people walking around in their rooms. Even though we tried to tread really softly, the wooden floors were still really squeaky.
Otherwise would have been 10/10

Would definitely go back.
Reception was very friendly. Had evening flight were only 10 pm. in hotel.
Could get a platter of cheese or ham and booze. Was very well cared for.
Breakfast is very catered for with service of egg dishes. Other in buffet formula, very qualitative choice.
Pool was a pleasant refreshment at these temperatures.

Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff. On our last day we had to leave before breakfast so staff prepared a bag for us with food.
