The San Miguel was the perfect place to stay! Our room had plenty of space and a beautiful sitting area that could be closed off from the bed. The sitting area overlooked a lovely courtyard. The area where the hotel was located was quiet but just around the corner are shops and restaurants and the Cathedral only a few blocks away. The staff with whom we interacted at the desk were friendly, personable, extremely helpful. Luisa was on the desk when we arrived and truly guest focused. I was disappointed I didn’t get the name of the gentleman on the desk the next day, but he was equally guest focused. Overall excellent value for money!

Beautiful hotel in excellent location. The staff were so nice and the breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay again.

The San Miguel Hotel was a delightful two-day retreat after 30 days of walking the Camino Francais. Even though it was close to the Cathedral, the San Miguel was always quiet; a great place to escape the noise and the crowds.
The San Miguel felt decadent after the albergues! I loved my hotel room with its enclosed terrace - complete with table and chairs where I could sit and drink my morning coffee or afternoon tea! An electric kettle was provided, along with tea bags and coffee sachets. The room also had a minibar/fridge with cold drinks. The bathroom was lovely as well - bathtub/shower, shampoo, conditioner and blow dryer. I can’t say enough about the hotel or its staff. It’s my top choice in Santiago. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
