Excellent stay
Excellent location, about 100 meters from the Cathedral. Incredible for those who make the way and only think of getting to the accommodation to rest. Close to shopping and restaurants.
The room very nice and comfortable.
But the best part was the sympathy of Lucia, who is an authentic love and very acquainted with the city.
They have a small room in case you need to store your bags for a while before leaving Santiago.
I found my favorite place for when I go to Santiago.

Safe, great location - DO NOT STAY HERE IN THE SUMMER MONTHS!
The hostel was clean and right in the heart of Old Town. Safe place friendly staff. Beds comfortable although a very small room. The is a small bath with shower only. The front door is a beautiful old Dutch door with a keypad for entry, which was easy.
The problem here is there is no AC and with it being in the heart of Santiago in July, we had to sleep with the floor to ceiling windows open. The noise on the street goes until 3:30am and thus for 2 nights, my daughter and I didn’t sleep. We’re wrecked after 2 nights here. When we finally closed the Juliet balcony windows, it was completely air tight and sound proof. So our choice was sweating all night in the heat or staying awake with the excitement in the streets.
I believe if you stayed here in cooler temps you’d have a completely different experience.

Central and simple
We stayed one night.
Petfriendly (10€) provided us bowl, bed and towel for the dog.
Very central, you see the cathedral from the room.
Apartment simple and clean.
To park there is no place but there is a public parking nearby that for a day we were charged 15€.

Perfect
Stayed 2 nights upon arrival of my journey, location very close to the cathedral, clean, welcoming and helpful staff, I didn't find any problems with noise from nightlife contrary to other reviews, book well in advance

Disastrous reservation management
Our experience with this accommodation has been terrible. And I can't talk about the facilities, because we didn't even get to enter. I can only say that its location is good, very close to Plaza del Obradoiro. Although this, logically, is a problem in terms of parking issues.
I say that we didn't get in because it turned out that, despite having made the reservation a month and a half in advance, when we got there, it turned out that our room had been given to someone else and that they didn't have any more rooms.
They had contacted us days before, so they knew we were going and everything was confirmed. They had given us a reception schedule and, in case we arrived later than that time, they had given us instructions on how to enter and get the key. We arrived in Santiago before reception hours were over and, to our surprise, there was no one there. When trying to get the key, the box was empty. When we called the contact number, the man who answered us did not give us any explanation about what was happening, he told us that he would call us in two minutes. He didn't call, we had to call him again, he didn't pick up the phone, and we had to call him from another number. He told us that the solution was complicated because we were traveling with a dog, and that this made it difficult to find other accommodation. The mistake was not ours or our dog's, but his for not having managed the accommodation reservations well. When we asked him for claim forms, he did not have them and, if he had, he would not have given them to us easily either.
Finally, he found us other accommodation, assuming the expenses that this entailed. He didn't apologize, but at least he responded for his mistake by offering us a solution. Of course, in a hostel without an elevator, on the fourth floor and in a tiny room. But at least, after wasting the entire afternoon and giving us a bad experience during our vacation, at least we were able to sleep somewhere with our dog in Santiago.
