City small hotel, worth booking in

This city hotel is on the Camino, handy for the city, and near the bus station. Quiet , very modern and clean and great breakfast. The staff were very helpful and English was excellent. a great little find.

A soft landing for pilgrims

After 4 1/2 weeks on the Camino de Santiago sleeping in Albergues, listening to snorers, sharing bathrooms, we found a soft landing here. The innkeeper was kind enough to allow us to drop off our backpacks in the morning as we headed into Santiago (as this pension is conveniently located right along the Way), and had them waiting for us in our room when we returned in the afternoon.
Four twin beds provided ample space for two couples. The showers were hot with good pressure. And although the hair drier was less than enthusiastic, it was the first of its kind we had seen in a very long time and was this welcomed. We elected not to have breakfast in house, but after a walk past there in the morning we somewhat regretted that decision as it looked really good.
As mentioned, the location could not be more perfect for pilgrims as its is on the way into town. It is also near the bus station and on the same side of town as the airport, yet only a kilometer or so from the cathedral and historic center of town.
Clean and comfortable and highly recommended.

Not Able To Honor Booking -

This hotel took my booking for two days on Booking.com and confirmed them both.
I was on the last day of the Camino and cycled for six hours in a torrential storm arriving absolutely soaking wet.
They glibbly informed me that there had been a confusion. They had booked alternative accomodation.
I accept that poor business diciplines could lead to overbooking, but not to inform the customer by phone or text or email - all of which contact details is just poor customer relations.
Take your chance if you want I will certainly not be booking here again

Lovely and quiet

My husband made this reservation and it turned out to be a wonderful place. This B&B has been completely redone. Everything is new and shiny. Elevator and comfy beds. It is super clean and the staff is fabulous. The breakfast is 4 euro but they have everything you need. They also offer laundry service. The walk to the center of old town is 10 min or less. You wouldn't want to stay right in old town as it is very busy and noisy. I would stay here again.

Look no further

Especially good for pilgrims on the Camino as it is on the way. Just a 10 minute walk to the Cathedral and located in an authentic Spanish neighborhood. Supermercado is close by as are good restaurants if you look closely.
Large well appointed rooms with lots of wood work and nice views. Rooms have safes.
Great breakfast. Great staff and an attentive owner.
Great value here.
