Weekend visit to Segovia
You can't explain a dirty, wet place that hasn't seen the legia in years.
If you touch it, you take it from behind.
The price is expensive for what it is if I go alone I prefer to sleep in the car.
The good thing is the situation has everything close by on foot half an hour

Economical and Clean
Having read some negative reviews of Hostal Taray I was a bit worried about how it would be, but it was great for what we wanted - a clean room with ensuite bathroom close to the historic centre of Segovia. The room was quite spacious with plenty of storage space, plenty of TV channels and wifi. 10 minutes walk to just about everywhere and nice views of the river valley. Quiet, and though we didn't see the staff except to check-in they were very helpful and friendly and ready with information about Segovia. Would stay here again!

Excellent value for money
We stayed in Hostal Taray for a weekend in January. I was on crutches and so the fact that all the rooms on the ground floor was a nice bonus. Aside from that, the hostel is located on the edge of Segovia's old city centre and so our room faced out with an amazing view across the valley beyond. For the money, it was excellent value, a good, clean, hostel for independent travellers within easy walking (or in my case, crutching) distance of the city center, cathedral, Alcazar etc. The walls were a little thin but nothing a pair of earplugs wouldn't fix. Good parking as well.

Sangre en la cortina
Cual fue mi repugnante sorpresa al ver la cortina blanca de la ducha manchada de sangre en varias zonas (se ve en las fotos) por supuesto fui incapaz de ducharme allí, por suerte solo estábamos una noche. La contestación del encargado cuando se lo comenté fue un simple "ha pues ya lo siento".Si dejamos a un lado que es lo más asqueroso que he visto en un hospedaje. El hostal en si no tiene nada a destacar, un hostal normal, quizá algo caro calidad precio. Nos tocó la primera habitación nada más entrar por lo que estuvimos oyendo las conversaciones de cada cliente al salir desde primera hora de la mañana.
