Characterful hotel in great location

We stayed here three nights during a week-long trip to Spain.
The hotel has some real strengths. It occupies a great location, right on the plaza with plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and within walking distance of many of the city's attractions. Furthermore, it's full of character in both the bedrooms and and communal areas, with nice decor and tiling.
Our room was a reasonable size with a nice bathroom including a bidet and shower with good heat and flow. Plenty of toiletries were provided. A key-operated safe was supplied but we had to go to reception and ask for the key. Everything was clean and tidy.
Check-in was a torturous process with the receptionist struggling to find our booking and to input information; and then asking us to enter details on a non-standard key board which even she didn't seem to know how to operate. But after this, we only had efficient friendly, and very customer-focused service from all the staff.
Breakfast included a good range of fruits, hot offerings from the buffet, breads, pastries, cereals, yoghurt and nice coffee etc. It's served in an area on the 2nd floor which felt a bit strange - like a cafe where you need to go behind the counter to access some of the help-yourself food. There is also a rooftop terrace here (the "cafe" becomes a bar later in the day) but it was only open during one afternoon of our stay.
We really enjoyed our stay here.

Poor experience at hotel

Great location everything was walkable, but unfortunately we didn’t have a great stay at the hotel the rooms had no windows, no tea/coffee facilities and work was being done in the hotel so was woken up at 6.30/7 am every morning and wasn’t even informed about this on arrival , the terrace bar wasn’t open at all , staff didn’t make you feel very welcome very blunt with you when you asked a question or advice

Thank you for your comment. All rooms have windows overlooking the inner courtyards. All rooms are equipped with tea-making facilities. The staff are working because we’ve had a problem; we weren’t aware of it when you arrived – it was an unforeseen issue, so we weren’t able to let you know. Our staff work hard to make guests feel as comfortable as possible, just like at home. You can see the other reviews from guests praising our staff; we’re not sure what you mean by saying they were rude, as that is certainly not the case. For our part, we did our very best to ensure you had a pleasant stay.

I would stay again. Lovely staff and room.

The hotel is a cool oasis away from the central location in Seville. It is built as a riad so the heat is kept out. The air con was great. We did not participate in the breakfast but the roof terrace was very cute and an added bonus. We did not have any issues with noise. Reception were informative and efficient. The outstanding feature was the cleanliness. Our rooms were spotless each day. The beds in particular were perfectly made, we felt really spoilt. Would definitely return. Directly outside you have a wide selection of bars/tapas etc. It was a short walk into the centre.

Ripped us off after wrongly charging credit card over $1,100.

This hotel and apartment group wrongly charged us $1,100 then denied they did so. Upon providing them bank statements they reluctantly agreed and refunded us however not the full amount or the bank fees we were charged amounting to over $50. They state they won’t pay this even though it was their mistake. They refuse answer our emails and so we are out of pocket because of their incompetence. The apartment was cramped and very average for the high fee they charged. Go elsewhere. Very unprofessional.

It was a payment error and we've refunded your money. It's not our fault that your bank charges fees. We've refunded the money.

This hotel was excellent the man on reception was great. The rooms were clean and spacious and air conditioning worked well in the 35degree heat.
Busy area with local bars but hotel inside was lovely and quiet at night.
Terrace was great for breakfast. One night was open in the evening and the food and drinks were good on that night.

Very good location
