Very cheap pension for individual room

I do love Spain and always travel there. This time Sevilla was on my way. I made a reservation and did not look that the pension is located a bit far from the city center. Anyway, for those who want to move fast - there is a metro station Gran Plaza just on the corner. The pension is a little bit odd, very old rooms, it is still allowed to smoke inside, I am smoker, but I do not appreciate it in any kind of accommodation.
The rest of my stay was just ok.

Does what you’d expect

Booked a private room with own bathroom at this pension for two reasons (1) the price and (2) vicinity to Ramón Sanchez pizjuan stadium.
For the price you cannot expect much, it is a room, with a double bed and shower room. The room itself is a fair size and has ample storage and room to move around. The bathroom was big enough and the shower nice and hot. A/c worked perfectly and everything was clean.
Staff are good, between their poor English and my poor Spanish we got everything done. However, the bad points are local noise from the streets and people coming and going all night in the hostel but these are to be expected. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but for one night was more than what I required .
In all I’d book again to stay here

Sad room

Choose this pension only if you are looking for a cheap accomodation or a very short stay. Room is small, just enough for 2 beds and a closet and has a very small bathroom. Narrow hall and no elevator if you have luggages. Saves itself for the neighbourhood: metro station in the square ( 3 stops away from the center), lots of bars, restaurants and shops. Not worth the money.

Noisy neighbourhood, yet good value for money!

Rooms are small, there's the bed, small closet, a desk and a small lamp table by the bed - more than enough for a budget traveler. Have in mind that the streets and the plaza are very busy and somehow loud. Didn't have trouble sleeping, though I can imagine some folks will. Wi-fi is free of charge and works well. Subway entrance is just 50m away from the hostel as well as bus stops etc. Walking takes 30-40m to the old town. Plenty of affordable restaurants and bars in the area.

Don´t stay in this pension!

Don´t even consider staying in this pension. It is dirty, noisy, unfriendly, and the kinid of hostal you thought disappeared 25 years ago. Break your budget for one night and stay in a real hotel where you can get a good night´s sleep and get up ready to take on Seville.
