ESCAPE THIS HOTEL
Catastrophic stay at the Pensión Pérez Montilla. Old, dirty hotel, non-existent soundproofing, extremely uncomfortable mattresses (back pain guaranteed) and nights impossible due to noise.
Unpleasant staff and totally indifferent to problems. No response to our messages.
After Booking intervenes, we are changed rooms... for worse.
Worst of all: the manager blocked access to our room and detained our luggage with all our documents (passports, cards, etc.), then threatened not to return them if we did not pay for a cancelled night. We stayed outside for over an hour in a very stressful situation.
An unacceptable experience. Establishment to avoid absolutely.

First things first: the courtyard photo shown is not of this hotel—it belongs to the adjacent property.
That said, this place is fine for what it is, as long as you choose your timing carefully. I stayed in a single room with a shared bathroom. The room was clean… and that’s about all there is to say.
A few important things to know before booking: there is no air conditioning or fan in the room. I visited in early April, so the temperature was comfortable, but in summer this would likely be an unbearable sweatbox. Secondly, the walls are extremely thin. The man snoring next door sounded like he was in the same bed as me.
Also worth noting is the size of the bathroom facilities. I’m a broad‑shouldered man but not overweight, and I barely had enough room to stand upright in the shower stall. Larger guests may find this particularly uncomfortable.
In short, if you’re medium to slim build, not sensitive to noise, and avoid staying during the summer months, this is a perfectly decent option if all you need is a basic place to sleep.

Well located, no parking but public parking nearby. Always staff at the réception Desk is helpfull when arriving.

Every night low noice from lobby/reception, after 22:00 .. First night low untill 1:50 AM !
Freezing cold and no hearher i room.
No one in reception when I arrived, even within the short time for checkin

Never again!

The pension is in a great location, you can reach the historic center of Seville with a pleasant walk, here end the advantages of this accommodation ; the rooms should be renovated, the sheets more accurate, my room had at the entrance a step where it was easy to stumble, from the bathroom came sometimes an unpleasant smell of sewer. I would also like to add that it is really unusual for me to withhold EUR 50 from my card at checkout for any damage. Luckily in the next street I found a much higher accommodation at a much lower price
