The reception was helpful and room was tidy. Good for one night with all the necessary things. Walkable distance from Seville railway station.

refusal to accommodate me
I booked a room late. Upon arriving at the location, the night staff member indicated to me that they did not see my reservation and that there were ultimately no more rooms available. They then asked me to cancel the reservation myself, specifying that they could not do it since they did not see it in their system.
Today, the establishment is nevertheless refusing to refund me, even though they indicate on their end that I did not show up. That seems contradictory to me: if the hotel was able to report my absence, it means they were aware of my reservation, right?
I therefore cannot help but wonder if other reasons motivated this refusal to host me. Could my appearance or the fact that I do not match the image or the standing of the establishment have played a role?

Concernant la réservation, je souhaiterais préciser que lorsque vous avez effectué la réservation à 1 h 00 le 17/08, celle-ci correspondait à la nuit du 17 au 18 août, et non à la nuit du 16 au 17, qui était la date à laquelle vous souhaitiez séjourner dans notre établissement et effectuer votre arrivée (check-in).
Précisément afin de vous éviter tout désagrément, notre réceptionniste vous a indiqué de procéder à l’annulation de la réservation, en vous avertissant que, si vous ne le faisiez pas, les frais correspondants pourraient être facturés. Malheureusement, la réservation n’a pas été annulée et, par conséquent, ces frais ont finalement été générés.
Par ailleurs, nous sommes surpris par la méfiance que vous manifestez à l’égard de l’intervention de notre réceptionniste, dont la fonction est précisément d’accueillir, d’orienter et d’aider nos clients dans la mesure de ses possibilités. Dans le cas présent, son indication avait pour seul objectif de vous éviter un coût inutile.
De même, nous regrettons et ne pouvons cautionner l’allusion que vous faites à l’apparence. Dans notre établissement, toutes les personnes sont accueillies avec le même respect et la même considération, indépendamment de leur nationalité, de leur race, de leur origine ou de leur apparence. Ces valeurs font partie de notre conception de l’hospitalité et constituent des principes que nous défendons fermement.

Heavenly Scent
We stayed for five nights and found the hotel surpassed our expectations. It is spotlessly clean, airy and tranquil and it smells heavenly! Like others have said, the staff were friendly, courteous and welcoming. We liked the location - it is about thirty minutes to the cathedral if you walk and it is a stroll through magical streets with a wonderful atmosphere - especially at night. If you don't want to walk, the buses are brilliant and we used the 21 bus almost every day. A beautiful hotel in a wonderful city - we would love to go back!

Memorable weekend getaway
We arrived on an early flight so we were not expecting to check in immediately. However, to our surprise Juan Carlos said "let me just check if your rooms are ready." He then came back and said that we can check in early since the rooms were indeed ready. This gesture was very welcomed as we were only expecting the hotel to store our luggage at best prior to check-in. The hotel was very clean, the staff were very welcoming and always went out of their way to communicate effectively with us even though English is not their first language.
I must take this opportunity to say that my friends and I had
absolutely incredible stay. A huge shoutout to Juan Carlos who is the true definition of what the hospitality industry should represent. Their exceptional service made our trip unforgettable. We will definitely be back!!

Great little hotel , wonderful staff
Great little hotel . Reception staff are very helpful . Staff make you very welcome. Rooms are immaculately clean. Room 112 suite has a balcony with a turndown service every night. The macaroons they give you are amazing.
You can either have breakfast with your room or the hotel has a cafe which opens at 7am for breakfast. They make fresh baked churros and hot chocolate in the morning AMAZING you have to try them.
The hotel has a small pool area where you can sunbath or just to cool off. A great spot to explore Seville. A Uber to/from the hotel to the centre is around €9
