Great location.

This was our second visit to Seth Isla Paraiso and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We were in a 2 bed sea view apartment, they are a good size and the air con in the lounge was a bonus in 35 degree heat. We stayed B/B which gave us all the opportunity to eat out in the evenings. I can highly recommend Blue Arenal and Arena Beach - both good quality food and service. The breakfast at Seth Isla is plentiful with lots of choice. Here's to 2027, we have all booked to return.

Mixed feelings but we still had a good week

Just returned from a weeks stay with 2 children age 9 and 13. Very mixed reviews. Upon arrival, first impressions were its quite run down and the area had a lot of rubbish and litter surrounding the entrance. Greeted by a wonderful staff member who kindly called when our room was ready 2 hours earlier than anticipated. Lack of instruction to locate room and wondered aimlessly for a while in 36 degrees but found it in the end. As per other reviews. Multiple steps and not advised for the less able. Whilst there are accessible routes to enter the complex and beach getting to rooms would not be feasible, neither would getting to the restaurant. Once in the room we noted it was clean and well presented but dated. The kitchen area could do with updating. Having said that, the fridge worked and that's all we really needed. Very appreciative of washing up liquid and sponges to clean glasses.
The complex in general appears run down, the flooring lifting in places, some of the sunbeds need replacing. There seemed to be a lack of general caretaker and wine glasses and bottles remained left outside by other guests from the evening before until at least lunchtime on a windy day which filled me with dread when multiple children were around. When I went to remove it and take to the bar someone else had done it. The area/beach is fab for snorkeling, the bars on the front are family friendly and reasonably priced. The pools at the resort were fun as were the animation team who occasionally hosted watersport activities. The restaurant on the resort was ok. Very kind and attentive staff but like someone else has mentioned the food temperature drops very swiftly once brought out. Variety is a plenty and what we had was tasty but sometimes cold. The breakfast was better than the evening meal, though there was still something for most, even if it was salad. I refrained from meat and rice dishes because of temperatures. My family enjoyed their selection and nobody became unwell. Hilight was the acrobatics entertainment, the evening entertainment generally was ok but most evenings only 9-10pm. We paid for a sea view room and had room 456. It was a partial sea view which I was dissatisfied with but sunrise was great from here and we learnt to love it. Very noisy facing the road/sea. People coming and going from the car parking opposite until early hours. Housekeeping came daily and rooms kept sand free and beds made which is much appreciated. Would we come back. Sadly not. The litter in the area was really off putting and the complex just needed updating. We compared this to seth mestral Santo Thomas and for us, that one was by far a higher spec all around.

Hotel between 2 and 3 stars that deserves a major renovation!!!!

Hotel between 2 and 3 stars!!!!
Good location because it is close to a beautiful beach
Rather suitable for children
Staff rather pleasant
But some major weaknesses:
- 30/40% of the lounge chairs and umbrellas by the pool are broken
- general condition of the hotel average and in decline (joinery, doors, light fixtures,....) and therefore in need of a major renovation and especially investments
- pool too small for a hotel of this size
- buffet dining room way too small for a hotel of this size
Consequences: very noisy and lines to get to breakfast
- classic problem of reserving lounge chairs: by 8 a.m. the lounge chairs are all reserved with towels and people don't arrive until 10/11 a.m., the hotel knows it but does nothing
- significant parking problem around the hotel
In short, it's a fine hotel for sleeping, but not for spending the day there.
We spent a week in a 3-star hotel on the other side of the island for the same price and it was much better and especially better maintained.
So the hotel barely earns its 3 stars and the value for money is clearly not good.

Summer in Menorca

Located in one of the most beautiful bays on the island, the property, although not exactly brand new, compensates with excellent service, breakfast and a buffet that is very varied and suitable for any palate. The apartment is well divided, with a small kitchen, a spacious living room, and 2 cozy bedrooms, although not huge. The only thing I feel like suggesting is a clothes drying rack on the terrace, because the existing one was very small and not very exposed to the sun. The entertainment is not very intrusive but still engaging at the appropriate times. The property is less than 200 meters from a beautiful beach and a bay with crystal-clear water that is never rough because it is protected. The staff is always available and friendly. My rating is: EXCELLENT

Excellent return visit.

We had another fantastic stay at the Seth Isla Paraiso. Having stayed here the year before, we knew exactly what to expect, and that was one of the reasons we chose to return. We were treated like old friends from the moment we arrived, which made the whole experience feel even more welcoming.
We had stayed in the same room the previous year and had asked if it would be possible to have it again. The hotel very kindly arranged this for us, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated.
The hotel itself was pretty much the same as last year, which for us was a positive rather than a negative. The rooms are clean and simple, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The beds are okay rather than luxurious, but we had no issues with them.
We stayed half board again. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice and something for everyone. Dinner was okay, although we chose to eat out for roughly half of our evening meals, as there are plenty of good options around the resort.
The entertainment team weren't as busy as they were last year and, whilst the entertainment isn't necessarily the main reason we visit, they still did an adequate job to keep everyone entertained.
The pool is great. That said, I do think it would benefit from someone keeping a closer eye on what is happening around the pool. Ferrell children are ultimately the responsibility of their parents, not the hotel, but the hotel does have a responsibility to help ensure that the pool area remains safe for everyone.
One other minor annoyance this year was the number of sunbed hoggers. When you have a group of 11 people, six of whom are children under eight(ish), there really isn't a need to occupy 11 sunbeds. Take what you actually need and everyone can enjoy the pool area. A little consideration would go a long way.
We also noticed that Outback sadly didn't open this year, which was a shame as we really missed it. However, there are still plenty of other great places to eat and drink around the resort. Bar 51 and O'Malley's were both excellent. We also ate at the Chinese, Blue Arenal, Coppas and twice at Mirador. Of all the places we visited, we felt Mirador offered the best combination of variety and service.
For us, though, one of the best things about the hotel is its location. The beach is absolutely amazing and we visited it every day. It's a real highlight and a big reason why we love coming back to this area.
All in all, we had another excellent visit to the Seth Isla Paraiso. We knew what we were booking, and it delivered exactly what we wanted. It's a clean, friendly and well-located hotel, and the fact that we were made to feel like returning friends really added to the experience.
Would we recommend it? Absolutely. In fact, we're already considering coming back again!

Very good location
