satisfactory for an economical price

Location close to Plaza de Zocodover bus stops. There was plenty of space for my needs. Tasteful mid-century room furniture. Beautiful marble tiled public spaces. Multiple electrical outlets for charging iPhones. The basic continental breakfast is adequate, there was cooked bacon. Very, very weak wi-fi - possibly worse when many hotel guests are accessing during peak usage times. Something is wrong with the bathroom ventilation because at time there is a horrible, putrid sewer gas smell.

Could be improved with renovations and information.

First, regarding the location of the hotel, they should explain how to get there to their clients or how to park directly, as they are in a traffic-restricted area.
In my case, since I could not enter due to the pivot, the GPS took me down a street that I could not continue on, which was very narrow. I had to back out with the help of a very kind neighbor who stopped to help me so that my car wouldn't get stuck.
The hotel needs renovations in the bathroom and rooms. You will see in a photo that the sink did not have a stopper, making it easy for something to fall in and impossible to retrieve. Additionally, there are old bathtubs instead of showers, and the same goes for the faucets.
The service was correct, but a bit more kindness would be necessary.
The water vending machine was not working when I arrived at 1:00 PM for my visit.

Unfortunately, customer experience

My experience was disappointing due to the lack of flexibility regarding an unintentional error with the reservation dates.
As soon as I detected the error, I tried to resolve it both directly with the hotel and through Booking. I even offered to pay any necessary fare difference to change the dates, but it was not possible to find any alternative.
I understand that there are cancellation and modification policies, but I expected a greater willingness to assist a customer who tried to resolve the situation well in advance and without requesting a refund.
What frustrated me the most was the feeling that there was no interest in finding a middle ground solution, such as a date change or a credit for a future stay.
I respect the establishment's policies, but I believe that customer service and flexibility in exceptional situations are important aspects of the experience.

Good hotel.

Very clean hotel. In the center, although there is nowhere to park. We parked in the lower part where there is a large parking lot and took the escalators up. The hotel is very good. We were assigned to room 001 and not a sound was heard. We liked it.

Was shocked that the room I booked with two beds charged an extra 15 euros per night for having an extra person when I arrived. Other than that it was loud but overall fine.
