Good service, great views, basic beach accomodation

Friendly, helpful staff. Good views (make sure to request a room from 2nd floor up, or you may be disappointed). Fairly basic facilities inside apartment, images on booking.com look more glam than the reality. Shared roof terrace lovely.

More ‘Silent Hill’ Than Seaside Escape

Bad smell, old furniture, everything works but it reminded me of a Silent Hill video game... Have chosen it on the basis of reviews but either I or all other guests have visited a wrong hotel

Notable discrepancy between advertised and found in the accommodation

I booked this hotel for my mother, guided by photos and positive reviews. However, the reality was very different: the location, although close to the beach, was noisy and unkept; at night, the environment generated insecurity. The room was as described, but the furniture and equipment were visibly damaged, smelling damp and a window cracked.
We arrived late, with no staff at reception (as reported), and made the decision not to stay. The next day, I calmly explained the situation to management and proposed a partial solution, understanding that the fee was non-refundable. The response was a categorical refusal, with no sign of empathy or willingness to engage in dialogue.
I sincerely thank Booking for its intervention and customer support. I share this comment with respect, to provide an objective assessment based on facts and to help other travelers make informed decisions.

Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A damage deposit of EUR 200 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. Please note that smoking is not allowed in the apartments. There is a EUR 200 cleaning charge if guests smoke in the apartments.
