NOT RECOMMENDED
The wall of our tropical suite was full of spackle, the kind used to cover holes before painting... IT IS HARD TO BELIEVE that for the price paid they would give you a room in that insane condition.
By the way, the water in the sink took an eternity to drain, the drain was almost completely clogged.
Oh, and the shower water was the same, it almost looked like a bathtub instead of a shower.
The pool jacuzzi, with some screws sticking out of the drain... enough to leave your foot there!!!
That said, the views were very nice and the room was very clean.
For the price you pay, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT!!

The worst part was not the room, but the treatment received
We went to spend one night as a couple and, in my case, it was the second time I had visited the hotel. We specifically returned because on the previous occasion we had had a good experience and were able to enjoy the facilities for a longer time.
As soon as we arrived at the room, we found ants in the bed. I understand that it is a hotel located in a mountain setting and that these things can happen, so we did not give it too much importance. However, when I showered I found that the water pressure was practically nonexistent and, furthermore, one of the towels was torn. These are details that, although unpleasant, I consider easily solvable. The problem was that the next morning there were still many more ants in the room.
What really ruined our stay happened later. Around 2:30 PM, while we were enjoying the pool in the middle of a heat wave, we went to the bar to have a vermouth. Upon returning, we were informed that we could no longer access the pool because, according to hotel policy, it could only be used until 2:00 PM on the day of departure (previously it had not been like that). It is a policy that one may like more or less, but if that is the rule, it is accepted.
We went down to collect our things and, due to the extreme heat that day, we decided to quickly get into the water for just a few seconds to cool off before starting the trip back. The pool was completely empty. In less than a minute, a hotel manager appeared to reprimand us for the situation in a very rude manner. I explained to him that we were already leaving and that we only wanted to cool off for a few moments because of the heat wave. Their response was to tell us that we were being disrespectful. You may have your opinion, but at no time was there any intention to disrespect anyone.

When we thought that was the end of it, the most unpleasant thing happened. My partner posted a review explaining our experience and, just a few seconds later, I received a call from the hotel. I thought it would be to inquire about what happened or to try to understand our side of the story, but it was the complete opposite. The person who called us, who was the same manager who had called us out at the pool, just reprimanded us for the review, went as far as to tell me that I had no values for writing it, and did not even allow me to calmly explain our experience. Furthermore, he warned me not to book at the hotel again because he himself would take care of canceling any future reservation.
I believe that reviews exist precisely to share experiences, both positive and negative, always from a place of respect. I understand that a review might not be liked, but responding by personally disparaging a customer, calling them on the phone to pressure them, and threatening to prevent future reservations seems completely out of line to me.
It is a shame, because the room maintenance issues were solvable. What was truly disappointing was the treatment received at the end of the stay and, above all, after having left the hotel. Certainly, after this experience, we will not return and we cannot recommend it either.

Disappointing
Lack of basic details: There is not even a sad little table, and the only trash can in the room is the one in the bathroom.
Towels in critical condition: I am attaching a photo because it is incredible that a luxury resort has such worn and deteriorated towels. Plumbing issues: The water pressure is low; it is unacceptable to have to shower like this in a hotel of this level. Ant infestation: The worst part was finding ants in the bed as soon as we arrived (I am also attaching a photo). It is a shame. The surroundings are idyllic and the facilities excellent, but if customer service and attention to detail are not up to par with what is charged, the experience becomes dreadful. I will not return.
