Very pleasant and unique hotel -- worth experiencing

Very pleasant stay at Hotel Ordonez Sandoval. The building has been owned by the family of the proprietor for over 225 years. It contains many old objects from the proprietor's ancestors, and is really very beautiful. It cannot be considered a luxurious hotel, but is reasonably comfortable for such an old establishment. The owner is very attentive and helpful to guests. The breakfast was basic but quite good (excellent coffee, fresh squeezed orange juice, various ham and cheeses, etc.). There is some noise from street traffic because the narrow street next to the hotel is one of the entry points for vehicles into the old city, but it dies down very quickly after around 11pm, so it's not a problem. This was a very unique hotel and I'm glad I went there.

Authentic, unique and special

All the reviews confirm how good this hotel and its charming, interesting owner are. I can only reiterate all the positive things others have said. It’s unusual these days to find somewhere to stay that’s so unusual, unique and authentic. A gorgeous (magnifico!) house with lovely artefacts in every room.

The hotel is like a B&B in states. It is furnished and decorated with heirloom antique items. It felt like staying in a historical home of a friend. The host is friendly and courteous. Staying here is the highlight of the Ubeda visit.

Vetusto, inside and out.

Very much in keeping with the city. Hotel in an old building, in the old town, in a very narrow street. For those who like the old, doors, windows, floor, etc. Spacious room with decor according to the building. The worst, the bed, noisy and uncomfortable. Breakfast with just enough, served, not buffet, in an intimate dining room.

A hotel to enjoy your stay in Ubeda.

Staying at the Ordoñez Sandoval hotel is a unique experience, an added value to our weekend in Ubeda. Its location in the historic center is excellent and Pepe the owner makes you feel at home. Its decoration and spaciousness make it very comfortable. It has all the comforts, I especially value the cleanliness and tranquility. Absolutely recommended.
