Good hotel in a central location

Hotel Palacio de Ubeda is very centrally located in the old town of Ubeda. The sights are all within easy walking distance from here.
The Service of the hotel is excellent (e.g. the car was parked) and very friendly. The rooms are very large and modern – we had a room in the new building. Why the bathtub has to be in the middle of the room has not fully opened up to us. It's a matter of taste.
The breakfast buffet was OK and the pool was unfortunately already closed at the end of October and so you could not go to the roof terrace, which would certainly have allowed beautiful views of the immediate area.

We do not recommend it.

Terrible experience. We were greeted by a person with a torn uniform, we were given a terrible room, and they changed us to one where there was no hot water. The bathrobe clearly showed it had been used, as there was trash in one pocket.

A sold 8/10, good size rooms, mine was a roof room, I could imagine this would get very warm during the summer months, the bed and bedding were excellent, the room was a little tired, the velux blinds frayed around the edges, as a result they let light in. The outdoor roof pool is unusable, wonderful veiws from up there, but the space really needs a make over. I didn't use the spa. The location is amazing, the staff wonderfull, the parking is problematic, the Bar is great, I didn't use the resteraunt. I honestly would sray here again, it represents good value for money. In fact I'm very much looking forward to going back to Ubeda! Amazing part of the world.

Horrible! Bad quality not essential services!! Dirty poor preservation.

Lousy is a hotel that does not give even the minimum services the shower !! We have gone 4 days without hot water!! Never in my life have I laid a claim! We've been treated terrible. Very poor quality breakfast. Dirty room full of other customers' hair. Scarce and very bad towels. Dirty and raised carpet of hallways. We have bitter holidays with the shower theme every day waiting for them to fix up to 1 hour and 45 minutes we were waiting for a day to the technician. A hotel embarrassment without being able to come down to breakfast because of hotel. I showered with cold water 4 days.

Not to come back!

Hotel rated as 5 stars G.L. and we can consider a mistake.
Upon arrival no one helped with the bags.
At the entrance at the reception there was sparkling and water: no one offered.
Condessa room suite with bath in poor condition. Bad supplements of poor quality and scarce: no gel in the bathtub, only in the shower, minimal body milk.
Small towels and poor quality.
No umbrellas available!
Little personal and no 5 star category.
Breakfast with very little variety: 3 fruits, one type of yogurt, no sparkling,......
Dinner: elaborate bad cuisine!
At the time of departure they did not even ask how you have been the stay!
