I stayed at this B&B in May, in the company of a friend. I would say fantastic experience. Very clean, spacious and quiet room, close to the metro, and Chiara at the reception was wonderful. Always kind, available, smiling, very attentive, and speaks Italian.
I highly recommend it!!!!

Great experience
Staying at this B&B was one of those experiences that remain in your heart. The structure is well-kept, clean and warm and familiar in a central location, but what made our stay really special was Chiara, the receptionist who welcomed us from the first moment. From check-in, with a smile, he knew how to make us feel like expected guests and not customers. Helpful, kind and extraordinarily professional, he provided us with valuable advice. At a time when hospitality is in danger of becoming cold and standardized, finding someone like you in a beautiful facility is a privilege. We will return, no doubt, also and above all to find that same welcome that made us feel at home, away from home. Thank you very much Chiara. See you soon Tonia and Dino from Puglia

I stayed at Hulot for four nights and overall it was a decent stay, but a few things let it down.
Check-in was quick and easy, but I was told to use the stairs to reach the top floor and wasn’t told my room was next to the common area. After walking up five floors, I realised there was actually a working lift, as well as a shared kitchen right next to my room.
The room itself was lovely - clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately, being next to the kitchen and terrace meant there was a lot of noise. I was regularly woken up by other guests and even the washing machine. As a solo female traveller and a light sleeper, I didn’t get a good night’s sleep during my stay. I feel a curfew for the common area or improved soundproofing would make a big difference, as every sound from the kitchen echoed straight into my room.
I also received a towel with holes in it, which was disappointing for a hotel of this standard.
Overall, the stay was good and the location is very convenient. However, had I been able to sleep better, my experience would have been far more enjoyable. While I appreciate the availability of communal facilities, being placed in a room directly next to them made it difficult to relax.

Room was really clean and tidy, comfortable bed and a nice large ensuite.
No tea making facilities etc in the room but it isn’t that sort of hotel and also they have a superbly equipped communal area where you can cook; brew up; and to top it off, there’s a lovely little roof terrace which turns into a sun trap.

All you could need
Perfect location, with reasonable public car parking round the corner. Basic room but all you could need. Easy walk into historic centre and easy bus to the coast.
