GREAT MINI BREAK
Stayed for 3 days in early July bed & breakfast. Thought the breakfast was lovely great choice of food , great fresh omelettes and prosecco available.
Staff - Wanted a special mention to George at the terrace bar he was lovely.

Not worth pride, time etc
Stay elsewhere, location isn’t great, service is terrible and breakfast ??? Wow save money not worth it

Ok for one time stay city break.
We stayed at this hotel for a girls trip. We chose to have buffet breakfast on first day, which was 20 euro each which I would say in my opinion was not worth it (mouldy fruit, rubbish coffee from machine, and sloppy scramble eggs) luckily they had a good bread selection and fresh juices.
They had a very small roof top pool, minimal sunbeds people were queuing at 9am opening time to secure sunbeds. Pool wasn’t the cleanest, but toilet facilities and changing rooms are good. (More toilets then there is sunbeds)
There is restaurant by the pool which is closed for lunch as the bar staff said it was too hot which makes no sense, so there isn’t anywhere to eat lunch if by the pool for the day.
For the rooms it was very clean and good aircon, and comfortable beds including the sofa bed. Unfortunately we were woken up every morning very early due to building work outside. No English TV only Spanish music channels. tick). Tried to charge us for mini fridge but it’s bolted shut!! ( if you want to chill in room bring firestick and snacks)
Room service menu was not good, very minimal food and was pre-made and overpriced. (Vegetable pizza and frozen chips)
Anyone can come up in lift without room key, (it’s a bit unsafe)
Hotel is in a really good location with lots of places to eat, and easy to get cabs.
In conclusion it was fairly good value for money so good enough for a one time stay.

Not quite the five star experience we expected
We stayed at Valencia palace for 6 nights as a family of four. Our room was worn down The painting on the wall was chipped and the wooden trims were moldy and gaping. The foldable couch bed was downright dangerous. Our kid hurt his leg on the side of it and it was very wobbly. We ended up sleeping four people in the big bed because the other bed felt unsafe.
Our room had a view towards the courtyard which seemed to be a place where homeless people came to do drugs. This is of course out of the hotel’s control, but still it creates an atmosphere that doesn’t scream 5 stars.
The breakfast buffet had a wide selection of food, but not everything seemed fresh. The bread was dry and the fruit salad tasted sour/rotten the one day I had it and the boiled eggs were boiled to the point where the yolk becomes black. The omelette station and the freshly squeezed orange juice was very nice though.
The staff were all friendly and helpful which of course means a lot, but if you want a 5 star hotel experience this place will likely be a disappointment.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Spain. Room was perfect and cleaned well everyday . Bar on rooftop was great. All staff were amazing.
