Perfect Location & Fantastic Stay!
We had an amazing stay at the Vincci Lys. The location could not have been better—it was right in the middle of all the sights we wanted to see, making it incredibly easy to walk everywhere. It is also just a quick, seamless walk to local transportation, which made navigating the city a breeze.
The room itself was well put together, very comfortable, and provided a great place to relax after long days of exploring. On top of that, the staff was extremely helpful and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We would absolutely stay here again!

Garbage Bins
Recently stayed here for 4 nights. On arrival we were pleased with our room , nice decor and modern bathroom. We had single beds which were comfortable. Unfortunately we had lots of noise from people using the garbage bins directly under our window (room 106) and the noise when the bins were collected was horrendous!! The first night it started at 3am !!! This really impacted on our sleep which was a shame as the hotel is in a great location for all the sights. We didn't complain as we couldn't be bothered to move all our stuff and we weren't asked how our stay was on check out.
Overall the experience was good but probably wouldn't stay here again.

Room 105 needs attention
We stayed at the hotel twice within a few days, booking directly with the hotel on both occasions rather than through a third-party website.
Our first stay was excellent. The room 202 was clean, comfortable, quiet and exactly what we expected from a four-star hotel.
For our second stay, we booked directly again at reception and negotiated the same room rate as our first visit. Unfortunately, the experience was very different. We were allocated Room 105, which had a noticeable sewer smell, the bathroom sink drained very slowly and frequently filled with water, and all of the bathroom fittings were loose, suggesting maintenance was overdue. The television also suffered from an unstable signal, with frequent freezing and pixelation.
Room 105 is close to the road and nearby pubs, so there was more outside noise than expected, particularly early in the morning when waste collection vehicles arrived.
Having booked directly with the hotel on both occasions, I had expected to be rewarded for our loyalty rather than wondering whether we’d somehow been selected for a “less memorable” experience. After negotiating to receive the same room rate as our first stay, I couldn’t help but feel that Room 105 was the hotel’s subtle way of encouraging us to try somewhere else next time.
Despite these issues, the location is excellent, the staff were always polite and professional, and our first stay demonstrated the standard the hotel is capable of delivering. I hope the maintenance issues in Room 105 are addressed, as they detracted from what could otherwise have been another excellent stay.

A suffocating room. Room 601.
Room 601. Really. Do not give it to anyone. It is not possible to open the window. It is tiny and it is a very small bed that is also stuck to the curtain. It was a horrible night.
