Dreadful staff

We booked this hotel as we had stayed in the sister hotel in Segovia the night before and had a wonderful experience…. I’m sad to say it was not the same experience in Ele Enara. Yes the location is great. Yes the rooms were good and having a coffee bar at the hotel was a bonus, however, the staff with the exception of one lady receptionist ( she was really good and managed to rectify a problem I had caused with a mix up of hotel dates) was dire…. When we checked in the young male receptionist didn’t even lift his head to acknowledge us, gave us no information about breakfast, WiFi etc, we had to go back down to him and ask the questions, it really was shocking!!! Then at breakfast we were met by a very surly young man named Daniel, if possible he was even worse than reception!!! He was huffy and banging things around we felt we were an inconvenience, it got to the point that we actually started to laugh. They need to take training from the staff in Sergovia. We will never stay there again. We felt so unwelcome

In the cafeteria they put us among a potato chip olive bones eaten by other customers

We just went to the cafeteria for a wine. They put us a bowl of complimentary fries and our surprise that when the potatoes were running out, olive bones appeared eaten by other customers. Disgusting, unhygienic. We've made a claim.

Can do better

The hotel is clean, modern, and especially close to the city center and train station, these are the positives.
Old bathroom, sad receptionist, medium bedding, and air conditioning does not work great. A lot of things to see again. In addition, nespresso pods have a paid reception, whereas in most hotels of this standing. There would be a coffee machine in the room with free pod.

I'm not coming back.

The only thing about the hotel is the location. Breakfast, for the price, is a real shame: everything was cold, the scrambled eggs looked very bad and the bacon was covered in fat, nothing palatable. Also, the bread was of a terrible quality and was soft
