Enjoyed my stay

I really like staying here. It’s pretty easy to get from the bus station. It doesn’t take long to get to points of interest either by metro bus or by walking depending on where you are. They allowed me to leave my luggage before check in. They offered shampoo, towel and hand soap. Place was clean and bed comfy. Restroom was small but perfect for me. Shared toilet was clean. It’s in the 5th and 6th floor but they have an elevator. They did have AC but I didn’t use it because it wasn’t too hot for me. Hot water was not an issue. Area is safe to walk around early in the morning or late. Wifi works great.

Dismal experience and shameful treatment by the hostel staff,
very soon they will receive news from my lawyers; because of the legal procedure currently being carried out, because of a serious breach of my personal privacy

Phoned 1hr before arrival and told all bookings today are complete. After 10 mins trying to explain in my broken Spanish and their broken English managed to resolve. Arrived reception on 5floor took another 15mins to sort passport details. Room clean beds clean .

Hostel humble but at the height of a 3 star hotel

On holiday in Valladolid for Easter 2025, on Sunday, April 20, the scheduled return date, my partner had to undergo emergency surgery at the H. University of Ramon and Cajal, right in front I see this hostel and call. From minute one Katia quickly finds me a room to drop off luggage and go to the hospital. Next Asun has moved the whole schedule to find me a minimum bed until the night of May 1, finally we left on the 26th after discharge from the hospital.
I only have words of thanks for the human team at the hostel. They made my stay easier at all times, making me feel at home.
It is certainly a 1 star hostel, but everything was clean and the beds and pillows very very comfortable, I have had worse in three star hotels and tourist apartments. Virtually new towels. I just hope I can repeat one day.

We entered as some other guests were leaving. I don't know if we would have been able to check in if not for them. The information on the internet says that reception is not 24 hours but we managed ok. Communication is not always clear - since we don't speak Spanish, we relied on google translate. Everything was fine with our stay - I'm just not sure how reliable/easy it would have been if there were any problems. The room was a little bit cramped but good enough. I think there weren't many other people staying at the time because it seemed as if we had the shared bathroom all to ourselves, which was great 👍
