This is a regular stop over hotel. Easy to find. Dedicated off street parking (if you arrive early - if not it is public area adjacent). Efficient welcome (multi lingual). Room is more than adequate for this price point - large comfortable bed, good bathroom. No other room facilities. Breakfast is buffet, and reasonably priced.

The reception staff's treatment was curt and disdainful.
I have stayed at the Ibis hotels in Oviedo, Zaragoza, and Malaga, and everything was phenomenal. However, in this one in Valladolid, it is the first time I have felt so disregarded.
The reception staff spoke to us in a curt and disdainful manner at all times.
I began to think that maybe they were like that with everyone, but no.
They were very charming with some French clients.
They asked us about our province; a couple of friends said they were from Jaén, and we said we were from Granada, and at that moment they cut me off and said, "Andalusians," in a harsh tone.
On the last day, my sister paid for both of our breakfasts. I arrived five minutes later and they almost treated me like a thief, explaining that my companion had already paid and that if I wanted, I could see the receipt. In a very rude manner, they said it was not necessary.
This was the case with everyone in my group.
I have traveled a lot and stayed in both national and international hotels, and I have never been treated like this before.
On another note, (which is unrelated)
It is also the first time they only provided one towel per person, for hair and body. In an Asian country, this is understandable, but here ...

Estimada Cliente, muchas gracias por tomarte el tiempo y contarnos sobre tu experiencia en el hotel.
Te pido disculpas si realmente te sentiste de la manera que describes.
Primero decirte me sorprende muchísimo porque yo mismo estaba esa tarde ayudando a la recepción haciendo check ins. Y fui yo quien hice unos cuantos de tu grupo, de hecho bromeamos porque estaba haciendo el check in a una persona que no iba con tu grupo y basicamente me arriconaron en una esquina. Entre risas me decíais que era para hacer presión. Una vez que me puse con parte de vuestro grupo fueron tratados con mi máximo respeto y cordialidad como a todo el mundo y mi compañera supongo que también. Como dato curioso en nuestro equipo hay dos personas andaluzas, una de Cádiz y otra de Granada, con esto respondo a sus dudas sobre si tenemos prejuicios con las personas de tu tierra. De verdad que lamento esas malas sensaciones que sintieron, nosotros trabajamos por y para nuestros clientes sin distinción de sexo, raza o religión y si no percibieron eso lo lamento profundamente.

The bed could be better but for an overnight stay we were comfortable. Our room and property were clean and neat. Breakfast was also good and slightly above typical breakfast fare.

Scandalous reception at the counter
I've never seen this before. The lady who had to take care of the check-in has done everything to make it completely impossible. It took 45 minutes to get that sorted. Unlikely how she did everything to do as badly as possible. I can't believe it.

Dear Roger V, thank you for taking the time and telling about your experience. I am sorry to ear that your check in took too many time. I am sure my collegue did what she could to have the problem sorted and controlled. I am sorry for the time taken but things has to be done properly and sometimes the check in can take more time for many reasons and quite often is not our fault. We try to do our best and be as fast as we can but doing the things properly. I hope the rest of your stay was all ok.

We were only passing through so only stopped one night. It appeared to be one of the better ibis hotels I've stopped at.
