Rare charming hotel.

Very friendly owner, totally at your service. Very good half-board dinner. Charming hotel in a character house where major renovations have been carried out for truly unique rooms. Very well-located hotel. We highly recommend it, especially as pilgrims to Santiago de Compostela.

Little gem in Vigo

Excellent three night stay in this beautifully restored centrally located granite town house. Fernando and his father José are delightful hosts and very helpful. The hotel is spotless and beds very comfy. Do expect some usual busy city centre nighttime noise. Subsidised parking east in the nearby underground car park.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Cozy hotel in the center of Vigo with excellent personal treatment.

Small and cozy hotel in the center of Vigo. The attention of the owners (José Manuel and Fernando) made me feel at home from the first moment. The family atmosphere is quickly transmitted to customers to make them feel at home.
The rooms are well maintained and cozy. Excellent a la carte breakfast service.
Reference hotel from now on for my visits to Vigo, both for work and leisure.

I really liked my stay at the hotel. Very well located, building well adapted to the activity developed and, especially, an irreproachable welcome.

At home, but in the heart of Vigo

My stay at Hotel Puerta de Gamboa has been excellent. The room was beautiful, with stone walls that give it a special charm, and everything worked perfectly. The facilities are of great quality and are very well maintained.
What would stand out most certainly is the friendliness of the staff: always attentive, concerned for the wellbeing of the guest and available for anything you need, which really makes a difference.
In addition, the hotel is very central, everything at hand, has a very good value for money and is ideal for spending a few days in Vigo. This is the second time I have stayed here and I have absolutely no complaints. For me it is certainly the best option and I have no regrets whatsoever about trusting this hotel. Fully recommended.
