Good Hotel

This is a good hotel in Zaragoza. The problem is that I found zaragoza to be very expensive and there is no internet places (locutorios) nowhere near the hotel. Restaurants are expensive too. In fact I ate among other places at "Cafeteria Coiba" nearby where I ordered a "hamburguesa completa" and I had a rude awekening when I took a bite on a piece of raw meat. I only spent one night in Zaragoza becuse I was dissapointed about the city.

Great location and safe area. No air con.

The hostel is in a great location. You catch bus 51 from train or bus station and it's right across the street. You can walk to all tourist spots even from train station as it's only 1.2 klms. We took bus as we had luggage. The room was very clean. There is a lift and reception is on 3rd floor. Two complaints. The height of the bath to get into shower was excessively high making it difficult also no fan or air con so at 38 degrees it was too hot but during the night we opened the window and the room was cooler. Reception doesn't speak much english

Pay cheap get cheap

If youre looking somewhere to crash, this is the place. Cheap hostal! Safe though, and clean bathrooms. Shared with others. 7mins to Metro station Para-llel. 20mins walk to La Ramblas. The concierge is helpful. They charge EURO10 per key.

Somewhere to rest your Head

Hostal Paraiso. Zaragoza
I stayed at this hostel on the 7th Feb 2013 as an overnight break on my journey from Bilbao in the north to Torrevieja in the south. Like most places I visit this hostel has some good points, and some not so good. First the “not so good” The hostel is on a busy main rood, so it is impossible to park anywhere close. Also the name of the hostel is nowhere to be seen at street level, there is a neon sign of the name, but it is on the third floor and can be easily missed in the daylight when it is less prominent. A simple name plate at the entrance could remove a lot of confusion. Also it can be a problem if you have a vehicle, the hostel does have a place where you can park, but there is an extra charge which is not included in the booking fee. It is also a good few hundreds of yards from the hostel, an important point if you have trouble walking or have to carry heavy luggage. Now the “good points” The staff I met could not speak English, but were very helpful in every way and always eager to please. On my visit my room was en suite, with a good bed, and very clean. As for eating, now the fact you are on a busy road in the middle of town works in your favor. There are so many places within walking distance for a meal or a drink that you will be sure to find one that suits you. As for the question if I would stay there again the answer is a very firm yes. The problem with the parking is a concern to me, but that is only because of my age and lack of health. For young Backpackers on a limited budget this place is ideal
