Such a beautiful place to stay front the beach.! 3rd time visit
Cozy rooms clean and tidy. We had a good sleep
As always food and service are top-class. All the staff are so friendly and eager to help our needs. Most especially we need to thank these guys for their outstanding service and for looking after us during our stay.!

Thank you all and we will look forward to visiting again.

Nice stay, but expensive for what we got
The bar area and pool were really nice, and the staff were very welcoming. What let’s Dream Garden down is for such a high charge we would have expected our room to be cleaned (wasn’t at all during our stay), more than two worn bath towels between 4 of us, more than one roll of toilet paper and generally more cleanliness around the hotel. There were empty glasses left out for days and there was no feel of ‘high end’. We’d generally stayed in cheaper hotels since arriving in Sri Lanka and had booked this as a treat, but in reality the cheaper hotels had a higher quality feel. It’s a shame as the location on the beach is great and a few changes would make a big difference. We didn’t have a bad time here, but probably wouldn’t return. We ended up leaving a day early and going to CoastLine Mirissa which was cheaper and felt much higher end.

BEAUTIFUL, COMFORTABLE & COZY HOTEL COMPLEX
THE ENTIRE COMPLEX, including the sufficiently large and deep swimming pool, is very well maintained. The wonderfully soft lawn around the pool is pleasant to walk barefoot on. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful, so you can forget the small lack of professionalism; but you can't always expect that in Sri Lankan 5-star hotels either. The food is really good, although not outstanding. The price of the night includes a simple but good continental breakfast, which can be extended in any way for an additional charge. Beer drinkers can enjoy draft beer, which is unbeatably cheap during happy hour. The house has a full alcohol license. The prices are reasonable and on a par with Arugam Bay.
ARUGAM BAY IS A TOURIST RESORT located on a main road with several beach areas. There are many restaurants of all kinds there, but otherwise the place is nothing special. If the weather and waves are right, surfers can indulge in their sport. Arugam Bay can be reached from Dream Garden in about 20 minutes by car.
A PREVIOUS VERY BAD REVIEW BY Pravin N SHOULD BE IGNORED. In guesthouses that my company manages, we also often have problems with locals, but this is not unusual. These are mainly middle-class Sri Lankans who cannot afford employees themselves. In hotels, however, it is their way to chase the hotel staff around and speak to them in a commanding tone.
Many still have a slave-owning mentality that has long been obsolete, are racist towards their ethnic minorities and consider their "class" to be superior. They complain about every little thing and, for example, want their bed linen changed every day, even though they probably sleep in the same bed linen in their house for 4 weeks. Of course, this does not apply to all Sri Lankans. Those who come from old families (old money, old school) know how to behave and are extremely polite.
The hotel employees who do their best to look after the guests, as is the case here, have a right to have their work appreciated and their person respected. It is also understandable, although not professional, to get into arguments with these impudent people; but what goes around comes around. In my guesthouses, I cover my employees' backs and have even shown these ignorant and arrogant Sri Lankans the door at midnight.
CONCLUSION
The hotel complex is highly recommended. Even though I usually stay in 4 and 5 star hotels, I was impressed and will definitely come back.

HORRIBLE PLACE AND BAD SERVICE
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND this place to stay even if you go with your friends or family.
There are much more better places in the area with friendly staff to stay.
The Chlorine in the swimming pool is very high and we all had red eyes with burning sensation. The owners dog also bathes in the same pool.
In the room we had EXPIRED milk packets to make tea.
